Good. I’m glad you’re amused.
-
I am blown away. BTW, congrats on winning the Kimberly-Clark scholar award yesterday.
-
I find it comical that Sark is so hard headed being a Saban reclamation project that he can't see this. Considering Saban ALWAYS adapted to the changes in CFB especially with regards to offense.
-
Incredible advice from someone who doesn’t know what subdivision our opponents are in. But I’ll perform a serious reevaluation nevertheless! I’ll PM you daily with my progress.
-
And you expect our QB coach to be able to help our HC how to call offense when this is his offenses as a OC: Akron Offensive FEI 2013 - 113 2014 - 122 2015 - 99 2016 - 90 2017 - 114 2018 - 126
-
Somebody get this to CDC!
-
2-28 since 1995 HC's who have won national titles as offensive playcallers and those who were not play callers for their team in national championships the last 30 years 2-8 vs top 10 teams as Texas 1-6 vs top 5 teams at Texas with his offense being the problem in most all of these top 5 games. 111('24), 89('23) red zone rankings on semi final teams that lost because offense can't score in red zone Year: Offense vs Defensive Rankings 2024: 18 vs 3 2023: 19 vs 6 2022: 17 vs 8 2021: 35 vs 47 The numbers clearly show the problem and it needs correcting. With that said, I am happy you're just glad to be in the playoffs!

Honestly, if you just like put 2 seconds into thinking about how beating SJSU 38-7 helps your point, I think you really need to reevaluate how you watch football.
-
San Jose St isn’t FCS. You’re welcome.
-
Yes because beating FCS teams has been our problem
-
38-7. There’s a couple for you.
-
I think this is a more than fair point - the moment Day gave up play calling, they won.
-
I'm just going by numbers man....is what it is. Odds say a play calling head coach isn't going to win a title especially an offensive one because in the last 30 years Steve Spurrier and Jimbo Fisher are the only two to do it. I'd rather Sarkisian swallow his pride and hire a new QB coach with play calling duties. If he can't do that and realize his side of the ball is the weak link and reason why we haven't and won't punch through then that's on him.
-
I know we won’t win it every year and I’m happy be back in contention consistently. If we stay the course I think we’ll snag a title or two over the next five years. But you think our staff are idiots and you can find a better way. Then again you can’t distinguish our starters from backups in real time. Do you have a hi-def TV? Maybe watch the game from your couch with binoculars in the future.
-
So you're just happy to be there and okay with not being able to win it all because of offensive deficiency?

All I was thinking about when USF made that game winning FG was Heze Kent and K.Guervil standing on the Florida sideline thinking to themselves WTF? -
Sorry but playoff berths count for more than a big showing against Tech and a one great half (sadly, the first) against OU in 2021. You can’t judge an offense on a game and a half, one of which was a sorry team.
-
This conversation is so pointless and ignorant. An appropriate comparison for Arch isn’t Joe Burrow from 2019 or the NFL—it’s 2018 Joe Burrow. That’s first-year starter, third-year Joe Burrow. It’s 58% completion, 16 TDs, and 133 PER Joe Burrow. 133 PER is bad. But we don’t judge Joe Burrow by those full-season stats because he wasn’t fully developed yet! We really can’t judge Arch until the end of 2026, which follows his development curve. These overreactions just make no sense whatsoever.

PK’s defenses have improved every year since he’s been here and went from god awful, to really good, to elite once Nansen joined his staff and tied the front to the back. As crazy as it sounds, Sark’s best offense at Texas was his first season with a healthy Casey Thompson, Worthy, Bijan, and Roschon. Made good throws in the short and intermediate game along with a great deep ball. Red zone was really good too.
-
Four, three, and even two. “We play too soft”, “can’t stop the run”, where’s the QB pressure” were constants until last year.
-
4* but after year 1 PK has improved his unit every year he's been here. While Sark has improved from year one the past 3 years have been stagnant in terms of improving the offense while the talent level dramatically increased from year one. This also includes red zone offense regressing every year since year one.
-
Funny, three years ago everyone was calling for PK’s head on a platter. Memories can get really selective.
