Belyeu strikes out to end a seven-pitch at-bat, chasing a breaking ball in the dirt. The Longhorns just can't get a feel for Arvidson's breaking ball.

It's another 1-2-3 inning for Arvidson as the game goes to the ninth.

Arvidson's breaking ball has been unhittable today. He rings up Flores for his seventh K of the game.

The leadoff single is erased with a 6-4-3 double play. Nice job by Grubbs and the defense to get two quick outs.

We're in the top of the eighth, still in a 4-4 game. Tennessee has the go-ahead run on base after Fischer singled to right. That's going to do it for Burns, who's being lifted for Max Grubbs.

Tennessee lefty is really tough - his curve is too much for Texas' lefthanded batters and hard on the righties, too, although I cannot tell why from the TV. It must look late breaking from behind the plate.

Nice work from Burns there. Just needed a good inning from him and he got the outs. Need something from the bats now.

10 Ks after 6 innings is not good. Galvan needs to get out of his slump. I don't think Flores will.

Belyeu makes contact with two outs, but it's a groundout to second.

Nice piece of hitting by Mendoza. He goes the other way. Make it back-to-back singles for the Longhorns. That'll bring Belyeu up with two on and two down.

Borba reaches with a two-out single. He's 2-for-3 today.

Texas needs to upgrade over Farmer and Gas this offseason
