Texas runs really simple coverages, but good luck figuring what they're in presnap while trying to figure out if it's a simulated pressure or if they're coming or not, and if they are coming who's coming as a first time starter. Hartline can only help for 15 seconds then comms shut off.

If Day & Ohio State throw caution to the wind like the playoff run and get out to a fast start it could be a long day for Texas. During the regular season last year the Buckeyes started slow and usually turned it up in the 3rd quarter. Now we have a new OC, but I think Day most likely personally scripted the first 15 plays for Saturday and will be calling the majority of this game with Hartline telling him what coverages he is seeing from up in the Box.

As I watch the Michigan/Ohio State game I'm so glad we got Baxter and Clark back. I can't wait until we get in short yardage and goal to go situations where we aren't running zone schemes.

My take was Day says almost the same thing every press conference and he was not going to put anything out there to motivate Texas. Quiet confidence in the process and prep is what it is.
