  1. Past hour
  2. Mendoza is retired on a ground ball to short. Two down.
  3. Borba is retired in foul territory in front of the Texas dugout. One down.
  4. Arvidson is coming back out for the ninth. He's up to 66 pitches through 4.1 innings.
  5. Grubbs retires the Vols in order in the top of the ninth. Texas has a chance to walk it off in the home half.
  6. It's another 1-2-3 inning for Arvidson as the game goes to the ninth.
  7. Arvidson's breaking ball has been unhittable today. He rings up Flores for his seventh K of the game.
  8. The leadoff single is erased with a 6-4-3 double play. Nice job by Grubbs and the defense to get two quick outs.
  9. We're in the top of the eighth, still in a 4-4 game. Tennessee has the go-ahead run on base after Fischer singled to right. That's going to do it for Burns, who's being lifted for Max Grubbs.
  10. Tennessee lefty is really tough - his curve is too much for Texas' lefthanded batters and hard on the righties, too, although I cannot tell why from the TV. It must look late breaking from behind the plate.
  11. Nice work from Burns there. Just needed a good inning from him and he got the outs. Need something from the bats now.
  12. 10 Ks after 6 innings is not good. Galvan needs to get out of his slump. I don't think Flores will.
  13. Belyeu makes contact with two outs, but it's a groundout to second.
  14. Nice piece of hitting by Mendoza. He goes the other way. Make it back-to-back singles for the Longhorns. That'll bring Belyeu up with two on and two down.
  15. Borba reaches with a two-out single. He's 2-for-3 today.
  16. Texas needs to upgrade over Farmer and Gas this offseason
  17. Make it five Ks for Arvidson after he gets Gasparino swinging.
  18. Arvidson opens the Texas sixth by blowing three pitches by Farmer for his fourth strikeout.
  19. The two runs in the fourth were charged to Saunier.
  20. A two-run sixth for the Vols has tied the game, 4-4. Saunier allowed two singles, Burns allowed two free passes (a HBP and a walk) and surrendered an RBI sacrifice fly before striking out Clark to get out of the inning.
