I've been handling other OTF business for the first bit of this game. Texas has a 2-0 lead in the top of the second. A Carson Tinney and Aiden Robbins reaching base on a dropped third strike put two on for Anthony Pack, who delivered with a one-out double to left. Ashton Larson led off the top of the second with a walk. He's on first with one out after a Gumbo strikeout.

I will say this. There was a point last season where I had these same concerns about the non-Kavan pitching staff, but they found a way to come through in the tournament and go all the way. I think Coach White will have them pitching their best by May and hopefully June.

It absolutely is. It’s putting all the pressure on Kavan and it’s starting to show.

I've said the same thing; the pitchers after Kavan are so hit or miss, it's going to hurt in the WCWS.
