If things go poorly this afternoon in Starkville, the post game presser may be an all-timer. Sexton just sat pushed Sark into a fire-ant bed and he's about to get swarmed.

Sark eyeing NFL per report
Ace Recruiter replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Not going to worry about it. Sark has his warts, but I'd love to have him here for 10+ years. Texas is in a much better place than it's been for 1.5 decades. A lot more desirable destination for elite level coaches. -
I think Sark has arrogance and stubbornness. He truly feels like his team will win out and make the playoffs. I am not sure Sark wanted this info out about looking into the NFL especially on game day. If he does win out and makes the playoffs despite lackluster offense would get some attention by NFL teams. It does seem like Sark has some desire to coach in the NFL. Really college is become more like the NFL with longer season, free agency/Portal, and NIL/Contracts. The main difference is players union vs recruiting. Who knows with having a baby maybe Sark feels like he needs to be more at home. In NFL can do this but college you can’t with recruiting. In college dont have much of a break due to recruiting but make more money because of this. Sark or his agent are looking at a high risk/ high reward with all coaching opportunities in both NFL and College. Sark better win out and make the playoffs otherwise not sure the NFL will take him. Not only at you just destroyed relationships with University, Boosters, Team, Recruits and fans.

Sexton is a pro at this . Sark as well. No way all didn't know this was coming out maybe not today but something is going on. Maybe not what was deleted here about personal Sark , but something is afoot. And wow UT denied it probably Bianco but that's his job. Gonna get interesting 🍿🍿

I’m not sure the NFL looks at this like we do. He’s have much more consistent talent in the NFL as opposed to having to recruit & develop.

If Sark loses to Mississippi State today… what NFL team wants him… the Titans? There seems to be an epidemic of thin skin going around. Fix the offensive line and play call what works if you want an NFL job. Maybe get to a national championship game if you want leverage. Hard to establish leverage when your team is seriously challenged with a generational talent at qb in the department where you are supposed to be a master at. A year ago he was on the way to being divorced from his wife. Now he has a baby son and a wife he was getting divorced from. Having time off might be enticing… Texas is a 12 month responsibility. I am curious to see how CDC and Sark navigate this.

He loses today should be fired for cause anyway

Why? His agent didn’t do this. His agent also made him one of the highest paid coaches in the sport less than a year ago. -
Does Sark have a buyout?

Lulz, no. The NFL is always a promotion over college. He would not been seen as a quitter, he got a promotion. So you are saying anyone that leaves a company/job for a promotion is a quitter. -
I think our people and his people would rather talk about him not leaving Texas for the NFL than whether he's on the OC hot seat.

If Jimmy let this out with out Sarks ok I’d tell him to kick rocks, weather Sark wants a new job or not making the current job that much harder by doing so is pretty damn crappy

What about #4 then, if we're about to repeat Ames/Stillwater, while your players are hopefully offline, you - or a friend without your knowledge - plant a fat "think hard about how much you'd miss me" postgame storyline. Saban used the "I'm not appreciated" bit on the regular and just defended Franklin with it last weekend. Or, #5 Miss Terry wants to help Lane flip some local kids 🤣 she's been pulling all the strings for years!

He needs to fire his agent today, or it's true. If it's true, he gave up and screwed this season from all the fallout that's gonna happen. I feel bad for this team everyone thought was Natty bound, now will struggle all season with BS. -

I believe it’s because of how soon NFL jobs can be filled vs college. There are likely more to open up. This leads me to believe that Titans/Sark talk has potentially heated up considering they were the team mentioned. They obviously didn’t want it out today but it could be one of those things where if he gets a job it gets the ball rolling for us to find our next coach. We don’t want this to happen late, especially given how many jobs are open. -

But, like you said in the OTF video, WHY do that now, in late October, on game day? You’d figure NFL interested would be back doored, not like this.

As a Titans and Texas fan, there’s a 0.0% chance he’s coaching the Titans next year. -
That means you know the why @Gerry Hamilton lol 😂

It says more about Sark than Arch lol… He hasn’t been playing as good as you’d want him to but he’s far from the only reason we’re struggling on offense. He’s also really talented but is having some struggles mentally. Giving up on Texas cause you think it’s not possible to save the offense would be the stupidest reason to leave I’d ever hear in my lifetime. He’s got unlimited resources. If Arch can’t seem to get over the hump mentally you CAN move on without having to leave Texas lol -

I don’t get your first paragraph line or thinking. No matter what college football and Texas fans think going to the NFL is a promotion. -
Only time will tell, I a big Sark fan but he doesn’t deserve a raise at this point in time

@Gerry Hamiltoni wonder what the Mannings think about all this. Sark thinking about leaving Texas and Arch to coach the Titans and Ward is saying a lot. -
Dolphins and Sark would be interesting. Coach is done there. Lots of fast athletes. Quinn… Tua… Waddle.. Sark knows these guys Say the Titans so the dolphins get interested.
