  1. Past hour
  2. I have no doubt Julian Sayin will eventually be an elite QB, but is he good enough right now to beat the #1 team in the country with an elite defense?
  3. You guys can speak on Texas’ side of things but for Ohio State, how the QB performs is the best predictor on if Ohio State can/will win or not. Ohio State’s WR, TE, and OL is championship caliber on offense. Ohio State’s LB & secondary are championship caliber on defense. The running backs and defensive line will be good to very good. It is all on Julian Sayin/Lincoln Keinholtz
  4. I like taking traits on the offensive line for 3-star prospects. Texas has hit on plenty 3-star OL in previous years. You get a much longer developmental track to build frames and expand on the strengths of their traits.
  5. The Oracle guy and his wife will probably cover the fine.
  6. Picked Texas to win what? Also, we don’t know how good Sayin (or Keinholtz) will be, but Arch in his first start as the unquestioned QB1 isn’t going to find it easy winning on the road either. Sayin was 5* QB1 coming out of HS just like Arch was.
  7. @Gerry Hamilton Could any of this potentially assist in flipping OT Malakai Lee?
  8. That’s just the cost of doing business. Michigan came out way ahead on this.
  9. Gerry - would be interested in your opinion what analysts get right and wrong the most with star ratings. For example, I think they get QB and edge right the most and stars don't matter for both lines of scrimmage. What positions are you most comfortable taking 3 stars for development?
  10. Connor stallions may have a show cause but Stonnor Callions does not!
  11. @Gerry Hamilton can you help explain the recruiting penalties and what if any affect that will have?
  12. Atkinson is elite closing speed on the ball. Space player. Can play multiple spots Griffin is an elite pass rushing LB off the edge Rouse is similar to Atkinson in terms of strengths
  13. I'm on phone with Sark saying hire the next Stallions ... no reason to hold back now!
  14. Agreed, basically says cheat your way to a championship, we won't take it away. The revenue the school makes on the championship run will more than make up for any penalty. Essentially there's not much of an ROI hit.
  15. Not true. We’ve lost more than any other team over the last 2 years and he still picked Texas to win. Sayin will not be good enough in his first career start to beat Texas. This defense is going to smother him.
  16. Today
  17. at best the guy who is getting held is getting trucked.
  18. I hate Michigan. But I agree with the NCAA here. You can't punish future players for the actions of people no longer associated with the school. However, I'm at a loss as to why old wins were not stricken. Under the NCAA's own logic, seems like the punishment should be appleid to the time frame that the cheating occurred. The NCAA takes one step forward and two steps back.

  20. 6-1.25, 220-225 pound top 3 round pick
  21. 4A/5A West Boca High has 5 DI players in their defense … two Texas is looking at
  22. Finebaum is about as uneducated of a CFB fan you can be. He is analysis does not go any deeper than “Ohio State lost X amount of players, therefore they won’t be as good”
