This is getting to be embarrassing and a bit pitiful. So many strikeouts and hardly any hits. Pitching has given up a lot of runs, walked too many, hit way too many, and not struck out enough. As of outs in the eighth inning we have scored 1 run in these 2 games.

Gumbo went to 2nd and ARod slid over to 3rd. With Winfield possibly hitting a bit better, and even Gumbo a bit better, they probably will not be hurting our offense.

Can't really hurt our offensive production at this point...

Gasparino and Borba both yanked after the base running blunder in the top of the seventh.

That was a bonehead play by our baserunners.

Either that home plate ump is on the Arkansas payroll, or is an alumni. Those are the only reasonable explanations for some of these calls.

Schloss looks pissed and rightfully so. Bad Baserunning leads to an inning-ending double play, wiping out the traffic Texas generated in the top of the seventh.
