  1. Past hour
  2. DEFINITELY would’ve benefitted from another year after how he played this past season
  3. Mock consensus has him # 83, 3rd round, 3rd Longhorn taken. This will change somewhat after the combine and after all the 3rd year guys decide on whether to enter or not. Last year the final mock was a little over-optimistic on the Horns, nailing all but one of their picks but on average rating them to go a little higher than they finally did, so take it for what it is, an early snapshot. Hopefully three of these guys come back, right?
  4. Would it benefit Manny to spend a year under boom?

  18. This is not the NFL where we're trading away 1st round picks for players... Going all in just means that we're not leaving anything up to chance. For example, if Robertson wants to leave cause we're not guarateeing he's gonna start at center or guard next year then Texas isn't stopping him. It also means that we're doing our best to retain the players we want to retain (Even through the NFL draft) and that we're not remaining stationary in areas that could improve (Defensive Coordinator). There's no downside to "going all in". Last year we took chances on players/coaches and that can't be a thing in a year where Arch and Colin are leaving after. As a last point: we sure aren't lacking in talent at QB behind but Arch is a little different. Not just from a talent perspective but from a "marketing" (if we want to call it that) perspective.
  19. He will make a difference wherever he lands. Thanks fot your time on the 40.
  20. With the all in theory i sure hope Texas is not mortaging future years for a 1 shot deal. Arch is great but we sure arent lacking for QB talent behind him either.
  21. Coach Bates not messing around 😁
  22. To kick field goals? 😉
