  1. Past hour
  2. Where is LSU getting all the money? BK ain’t giving no discounts on that severance after the way LSU handled that you would think.
  3. Texas has been in the low to 35 mill range. Will likely drop a little due to rev share. 25-30 is going to be the spot most of the top powers will play around in the next couple of years IMO
  4. 81-63 Texas final . Next game is Thursday vs North Carolina in Austin
  5. Eh. For some teams, sure. I don't think it's gonna be across the board.
  6. With majority of the coaching jobs filled for now, which rosters do you guys think Texas can have some success from in the portal? LSU will be tough now with Lane coming in and not sure what will be left of Ole Miss. Florida made a very meh hire in my opinion. I’d love Dallas Wilson and Baugh… Might be able to snag some big humans from Auburn too?
  7. There’s gonna be a significant amount of portal transfer activity with all the new coaching changes so no one’s team today is gonna look like their 2026 team
  8. The whole issue with LSU is the governor of Louisiana basically fired Kelley. Then it was drawn out thing for Kelley to get his money. As a coach I get going there, but at the same time you need time. Good Luck! Not only do we got worry about recruiting but everybody else does too. The real open territory is Florida. With Florida and Florida St. Struggle. We, should be fine in recruiting.
  9. Hey until Elko and Vegetables show me otherwise I'm gonna have around 70% confidence we win against them. They didn't manage to beat us in our down year, they're not going to beat us next year after we've gone all in. Team is gonna be up for both of these games like always and they're not going to take them for granted cause the leadership isn't gonna change in this team and after this year they're gonna be hungry. It's the year after we're really gonna have to worry about with A&M and OU.
  10. @Gerry Hamilton sorry if it’s been mentioned but what is the Longhorn nil budget if lsu is at 25 million
  11. Probably right, we'll see. I think a lot is still.left to shake out personnel wide with players and coaches. We'll know more by spring ball I would guess.
  12. Was it ever reported where we were at? Heard the rumors of $40M, but I think Sark said that was untrue.
  13. Ole Miss already changed the coaching staff... damn haha https://olemisssports.com/sports/football/coaches/1000
  14. Probably right, we'll see. I think a lot is still.left to shake out personnel wide with players and coaches. We'll know more by spring ball I would guess.
  15. I like this breakdown a lot: LSU a little too low, A&M a little too high - OU is always 50-50 for me.
  16. Overall I would say yes but we need to see what will be added and taken away possibly from the teams we play. We were undefeated at home this year and so I feel like we'll keep that same energy going into next year as well. I think the games at Tennessee and Missouri could be tough but nothing on the level of a Georgia or Alabama. I don't think LSU can rattle us enough in their house next year to make a difference. College Station mmm been there...done that. I won't give a record but I like our chances of getting back to the CFP should we miss out on it this year
  17. Yes, it’s difficult. Also…Scheduling Tough non-conference games as an SEC team makes ZERO since. There is a reason they all schedule cupcakes. Let’s not reinvent the wheel here.
  18. Bet he keep Blake Baker. He's doing some good things. They have some really nice young pieces to build around IMO
  19. The whole offensive staff just got a 100% raise Billy is the GM btw, so Lane got two private jets to land in Tupelo just to leave with his brother and the GM.
  20. If Kiffin gets reported 25 mill ... different animal for them. They were between 17-18 mill this season
  21. Cancel OSU. It's pointless. We needed those type of games when we were big 12. Not now. Even if we move to 16 teams, no OOC against teams that are in the top half of their conference. We should schedule Cal, Minnesota, Rutgers, Purdue, UCF, Stanford, Wake Forest, etc.
  22. 73-51-Texas TO Penn
