It’s kind of hilarious that Elko paraded this around at the beginning of the season and literally has nothing to show for it outside of a participation trophy in the CFP. National championships in the marquee sports are really tough, the baseball/softball combo has never been done before. UConn did it in basketball a few years back, and only Nebraska and USC has pulled off the football/volleyball combo, and that's only happened a total of 2 times. That Texas is potentially in the hunt for 5 of the 6 is a major testament to the school, CDC, the coaches and the programs. I say 5/6 because realistically I don't think anyone's thinking men's bball is a legitimate contender for the title this year.
