  2. Agree. Coaching and development matters a lot. Can’t remember ever seeing this big a turnaround in single season where primary change was in coaching staff. Incredible job by Schloss up to this point. Hope it continues and we remain healthy for rest of season and into CWS. Hook em! 🧡🤘🏼🐂

  4. Originally yes, but as the weekend came and gone without any noise, that worry meter for attrition has decreased significantly. Texas has done tremendously well at retaining talent they want on campus. It’s perhaps the most impressive aspect of the program currently and that’s really saying something.
  5. Are you expecting any more portal additions? Seems late at this point / are there any impact guys still available? Also somewhat surprised there weren’t more spring portal departures given the overall depth of the team
  6. Is anyone else having trouble with videos cutting off by themselves when you enter them from the OTC site? Wondering if it is just something with my phone, or if something with the site.
  7. OU Sucks
  8. Today
  9. New offer to 2026 DT out of Mesquite Poteet.
  10. Why wouldn't Texas BB have made the tourney in the B12? It was an easier conference
  11. Good question. The amount of times I heard Daylan McCutcheon's name with the first team. Both how early he joined the first unit, as well as how often he made impactful plays with the first group. Nick Brooks. Have to include him. Really tough end to the spring, but between the white lines he has as bright a future as anyone in the Texas OL room. Warren Roberson probably scratches the list. I was hoping to hear more about him and each time there was an availability he was one of the first names to pop up. Other mentions include Christian Clark's return. Lance Jackson's emergence. Graceson Littleton had a good spring too.
  12. Who/what have been your 3 biggest spring ball surprises?
  13. AJ Milwee, Jeff Banks and Mark Orphey all made a quick stop by Waxahachie HS this afternoon. 2027 DB JayQuan Snell is a big time in-state prospect that has recently resurfaced back on Texas boards. AJ Milwee is also getting his first in-person look at Jerry Meyer, a 2027 QB who now holds 11 offers in his recruitment. (Offer list is the photo below).
  14. Hopefully. My hope is that by July he is very close to 100%. Again, that is the hope. He has ramped up his recovery in terms of physical exertion this spring. So we will see.
  15. Offensive side of the ball is where I see it being filled if the staff looks to fill out the 85.
  16. I love the tackle situations, especially when considering the four-deep with Cojoe and Baker. The interior remains a work in progress, though for the most part you have your pieces – Hutson, Umeozulu, Campbell. Three fourth year guys is very encouraging. I envision by the start of SEC play this unit will be gelling well. But how fast of a start will they have against tOSU? Right now, I cannot be certain.
  17. I feel very good about the defense. Love what I am hearing about Arch. But concern, I suppose you could call it a concern – the offensive line is still a bit of an unknown for me in the running game. Will the rush lanes be present against similar talent (UGA, UF, tOSU, etc.). I think Texas will be better in short yardage situations in 2025, but I hope it is not just because of a more mobile quarterback and that the offensive line actually takes that leap. Also, I know Tre Wisner is a heck of a running back and should he be the guy again next fall, Texas has a very good floor at the position. But can the position transcend into an All-Conference room? That, right now, I do not know until CJ Baxter gets back on the field.
  18. Is confidence now high that Cedric Baxter will be 100% healthy & back to original form by August 1st?
  19. We have 2 scholarships available. Does OTF envision these get filled? Sounds like, if they are filled, they’ll be filled on offense
  20. What’s your realistic vision for this offensive line? They have experience and talent, but it still feels like a step back from the 2024 unit. Can Neto, Hutson, and DJ actually turn into plus players this year? This position to me honestly feels like the biggest unknown on the entire roster.
  21. What is let’s say your concern heading into fall camp with the team?
  22. As well as being "intoxicated due to the introduction of cannabis/CNS depressants" and being "unable to operate a vehicle safely." https://sports.yahoo.com/article/texas-longhorns-football-player-arrested-195154702.html
  23. Guilbeau and Black would see a solid rotation. Guilbeau by a hair for now.
  24. If we played Ohio state this Saturday who would be the starting corner opposite of manny ?
