He's a 2023 recruit. He's redshirted and possibly has a medical exception on top of that. Even with just the redshirt, he'd be fine to play 2027 as a RsSr. For example, Conner Robertson and Neto Umeozulu are both playing this year as RSSr. Both from the 2022 cycle.

Lateral movement will be the biggest hurdle coming off an ACL especially with him being a tackle. Hopefully he can recover well enough to be a solid rotational piece behind Siani

A quick update on the recovery process for offensive lineman Andre Cojoe. The 6-foot-6, 335-pound offensive lineman began running for the first time earlier in the week. Obviously, it was a great sign to see Cojoe with his helmet in hand during bowl practices, but obviously his athletic participation only extended to off-field stretching. Now, he is beginning to inch back towards extended running and conditioning. Cojoe tore his ACL back in fall camp in August. The update I posted last week mentioned he is about four months and change removed since the injury. I don't believe Cojoe will be a full participant in the spring, but this is very much a positive to get him back for the summer conditioning months.

Sadly, checked with a former student who has been around him. Not good reviews. Let’s just say he was shocked he got that job.

I suspect some of the transfers will eventually work their way into leadership. Biles, the big G spot (DT transfer guy), one of the RB's.

I’m curious to know which portal lands show up and get vocal. We didn’t bring in a ton of young talent, some of these veteran guys will get comfortable and start to set their own standard.

Texas offered him in January of 2025 when Jeff Banks made a run through the Tar Heel State. But was more of a "soft offer" to monitor. Good upside prospect.

I still call it South West Texas State University; it’s a pretty campus from what I remember visiting someone back in my college years.

OK, just viewed Damaad Lewis' 2025 mid season highlights. Athletic as hell and persistent too! His Junior tape teammate DL seems to be gone, sadly.

Will be interesting to see if it still works with tech and aggy both in playoffs this year and both have a lot of NIL backing. Tech and Aggie early commits include top 20 instate guys we met with this week and are trying to get visits from Brewster (dl), Redmond (dl), DeMarrion Johnson (OT), Snell (S). Others that we’ve offered and committed to OU, A&M and Tech include: Keldrid Ben (rb), Benny Easter (wr), Kaden McCarty (edge). I know Sark likes to play the long game and continue with evals. We’ll see if it works this year.
