I thought I read something earlier (before he committed/signed) that said he redshirted his first year at Akron. Also looks like he left Miami in August of 2023 so if he left there right before school started and enrolled at Akron in the fall, it makes sense as to why he didn't play at all that year.

How do Stanford's baseball and basketball teams look? With the number of small sports they have, if any of their major require teams make points, it's a massive advantage for them. Texas' director cup wins have partially been because Stanford's big required sports teams for the most part have been atrocious.

Nothing concrete but Chat GPT says he redshirted 2023. His first year at Miami was hindered by an injury lingering from high school. So maybe he’s trying to get a waiver for that season, not the 2023 season. SIAP.

I think it’s an uphill battle for Texas this year but a 50 point edge for Stanford can disappear very quickly. we definitely need men’s hoops to make the tourney. And need a lot more track and field points compared to last year.

this golf team is stacked. Beat host Arizona by 1 stroke. Not a super strong field. Did it all without their best golfer, Christian Maas who was competing in a pro event and finished as top amateur.
