  1. Past hour
  2. Sark, again, mentioned that Texas will be the most traveled team in the SEC this year.
  3. "Naturally, it's a tall task," Sark said. "We've got a tough road slate this year, and this is the first one of a few to come."
  4. Texas has nine starters and 30 players back from the CFP semifinal loss to the Buckeyes.
  5. According to Sark, 32 players who played in the Cotton Bowl are now in the NFL.
  6. "Beyond the rankings, these are two really good teams," Sark said of the game against Ohio State.
  7. A "pretty epic matchup," Sark said, "is great for our sport."
  8. Hartline wanted McCutcheon & Lockett bad. Hopefully those missed don’t bite Ohio State on 08/30
  9. I believe Goodbye will play barring a set back, Chatman is available and can play, hes just not at 100%. Chatmans hindrance has been close to the vest so I'm not sure what he is nursing. I'm waiting to hear If Mosley is ramping up this week, seems he had a lower body nagging injury. If Mosley can't go, I'd expect some more Daylon McCutcheon snaps. Kaliq Lockett may be a factor closer to the red area at WR if they have to spell Moore, Wingo or Livingstone.
  10. It is game week! Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian will meet with the media this morning to discuss the upcoming week or practice and final preparations for the massive season opener in Columbus against Ohio State. @Jeff Howe and I are on scene for the Sarkisian availability and will have updates accordingly. We should get going at around 11:35 a.m.
  11. What’s the latest regard Mosley, Goosby, and Chatman? I haven’t anything at all on Mosley & Chatman, but the latest I’ve heard on Goosby is that he is practicing but in a limited fashion. It doesn’t seem like anybody is too concerned about him being out for Saturday’s game.
  12. No doubt Sayin a snot seen any meaningful snaps. Arch certainly has but the two starts he had were against horrible defenses. I posted his stats and those defenses rankings earlier in this thread. Regardless both should be ready as Iron sharpens iron and they are both getting reps against what should be top ten defenses all fall camp. I think Day will let Sayin sling it early and often with the playmakers he has to distribute to. Question is does he have enough time to read his progressions without getting rattled and can he play as close to mistake free football as possible. Find out soon.
  13. Haven't heard of anything new beyond Mosley, Goosby and Chatman. From previous camp reports still unsure of freshmen CB Kade Phillips and Safety Jonah Williams status' but wouldn't factor either true freshman into week 1's game plan even if fully a go.
  14. Yeah for sure, same with Day. If you want, I would look at ElevenWarriors.com on Saturday at 11am EST. They will post the availability report at that time. I was more talking about rumors of injuries.
  15. Today
  16. You won't get anything from Sark that's concrete until conference play where injury status has to be reported.
  17. Ha yeah. If you can't tell, I have some strong feelings about him. lol
  18. James Brown gave us first Big 12 championship and first win against Nebraska power house then.
  19. He likes playing press man. Livingstone and Wingo aren't small guys, if they reach or don't get a good jam it's over.
  20. Woof he had bad years in Detroit and took over after Jim Caldwell had decent teams
  21. He does so many weird things that he attributes to the "Patriot way." The difference between him and Dan Campbell is alarming. No one liked playing for Patricia.
  22. The pencil and laminated play sheet is hilarious. Never picked up on that 😂 Sark, Flood, Milwee figured out Wink last year. I believe they can do it again
  23. Sort of a rant below that's not really related to your original post. Sorry! As a Detroit native and Lions fan, if we lose to Matt Patricia and his stupid pencil behind his ear, I will never hear the end of it from my friends. I don't fear him at all. I legitimately think that all of his success can be attributed to Bill and Tom. He is not a good coach or defensive coordinator. I hope we drop a bomb on this dude. I just want everyone to know that this loser puts a pencil over his ear and has a laminated play sheet. What is the point?
  24. This video is 5 years old and while he may have tinkered here and there his foundation is his foundation. For example, Sark is still running the same principles and concepts he has run since USC. The difference is he added a little more RPO and different motions. Patricia has a philosophy and a leopard doesn't change his spots. One thing you know about his New England defense is that they relied heavily on execution than they did on controlled chaos. https://youtu.be/axXDR5G9N3Y?feature=shared
  25. Tim May posts here as LovingBuckeye. It’s crazy how identical the Buckeye and Sooner fanbases are.
