  1. Past hour
  2. Lmao man. Bad take. You’re not understanding what kinda environment the swamp is . Especially when Florida is playing well. If they come into the game undefeated after beating LSU? What arch seen in Columbus will pale in comparison to what he sees in the swamp at night. Take it from somebody who’s been . That place gets ROWDY
  3. I think Florida’s offense will be good, but the verdict is out on the defense. We will learn a lot about them in the next 3 weeks. The good news is Florida won’t be able to hide anything from us, whereas we should be able to save wrinkles. We essentially have a month to prepare for Florida. There will for sure be no excuse for us to not have a good gameplan for Florida. Not knowing Patricia at the CFb level was a caveat that neutralized game prep
  4. Florida likely has a better DL and run game than OSU. If Lagway is healthy and playing well after going to LSU and to Miami, they'll have more firepower at QB. Florida doesn't have the receivers and sure doesn't have the defensive back 7 of OSU. If Texas doesn't play well, Florida can hurt us.
  5. Florida may have played better, which brings me back to the qb, Dj really didn't. He was still making the same mistakes like holding the ball, not getting it out on time, misses routine throws, and taking sacks. If he holds the ball against Texas, this defense will have a historic day.
  6. In order, assuming they lose no more than one game along the way, the biggest threats to Texas winning the conference and winning it all are Georgia and Ohio State. Penn State, like Clemson has a very experienced roster, but have to see how PSU performs against Oregon and Ohio State to determine if they can take that next step. Clemson will still win the ACC unless FSU, Miami, or Louisville rises to the occasion. I do not think Clemson matches up well with Texas. Still don't trust Brian Kelly to get it done, but he could take them to Atlanta and the CFP.
  7. I wouldn't go that far, but there's a tendency for our fanbase to not look at where a team is, or what they actually are, and judge them on who, what, and where the team we're going to face is. I'm not one who thinks Texas should go undefeated every year, but most times I'm in the ballpark of where the team will finish. Even with the loss last week my expectations of a SEC ship and Natty haven't moved. And if we're going to reach those goals, in my opinion Florida isn't a team that scares me. LSU, OSU, UGA, and to some extent Clemson does.
  8. Florida played much better after the Texas game last with a healthy Lagway. Florida was undefeated after the Texas game beating 2 ranked teams and easily Winn its bowl game.
  9. I don’t think any SEC team can keep up with Texas once Arch calms down. Some wouldn’t even score on Texas.
  10. Not only does Florida have to do everything right, Texas has to shoot themselves in the foot. And Sunbelt Billy is still the coach. I think most here would say that the best teams in the SEC are Texas, UGA, and LSU. If we're the team we think, we're not worried about Florida. If we are we're closer to Ole Miss than we are to Georgia.
  11. You really think that? Go back and watch the game. Lagway had like one really good drive after that it was four and outside even before he got injured.
  12. Florida has very talented starters, but they don't have the depth of Texas, OSU or Georgia. Florida can beat Texas, but they must have almost everything go right.
  13. Last year Georgia would have lost to them if Lagway didn’t get hurt, I don’t think you appreciate how much different that team is when Lagway is on the field.
  14. We will see. Florida may be talented, but they aren't OSU talented, or UGA talented, and if we can't curb stomp them, then we shouldn't be talking playoffs or SEC championship.
  15. Well again, I think Florida is very talented. Whether Lagway had great numbers or not isn't the point. That roster on both sides of the ball is better this year than it was last year.
  16. Today
  17. Yeah… Just saw this analysis cross posted to x. Really highlights the tremendous potential that he already has. He just needs more reps at this point.
  18. Not comparing the two, but I am asking would you be less confident if you were facing a team with a qb with those numbers?
  19. The talent on Florida's roster vs. that of Miss State isn't in the same stratosphere. That's why.
  20. Not sure if this is posted elsewhere but this is a great analysis of arch’s decision making from chase daniel. There are a lot of promising things notes.. his pocket awareness. Looking safety’s off. NFL throws. I feel better about arch fixing the dumb things given what he has in the tool belt.
