  1. Past hour
  2. No offense to Parker Livingston here. But when he’s your WR3 it’s not a good endorsement of the state of the room. They had every opportunity to get guys and chose not to. If the room ends up being poor, it’s on the staff.
  3. Offensive line was better than expected.
  4. Hard pill to swallow seeing highlights of Zachariah Branch this wknd knowing he could have been in Austin. I get his brother had to be part of the package, but we needed more in the WR room.
  5. Was there a memo put out to not ask the offensive genius about the red zone? Had to have been. That’s the only explanation.
  6. I’m pondering how he was so confident in the offseason to not spend the money on Zach branch or Eric singleton. I get that extra baggage came along with branch, but you chose a guy that at this point I’m not even sure will ever take a snap at Texas over having to take branch’s brother. There was plenty of playmakers at WR that entered the portal that he passed over.
  7. Nobody asked about red zone. Awesome. Great job by the media.
  8. What a joke of a press conference. Not one question about the continued red zone failures three seasons in a row.
  9. And only having 4 receivers ready when you had an entire offseason is on nobody but this staff. From an evaluation and preparation perspective.
  10. Sark: "It's hard to string together 15 plays in a row without screwing something up."
  11. They showed the defense opportunities where they could've attacked the ball and the plan is to work on maximizing those in practice leading up to the San Jose State game.
  12. Agree. Very bad sign. They needed to get more experience in the portal and made a mistake relying on a bunch of unprovens. I’m pretty convinced of that.
  13. "I don't think any of those other guys were really ready for that moment against that secondary."
  14. On the halftime talk with Arch, Sark said it was trying to do a better job of identifying Ohio State's coverages and the plan to attack them in the second half.
  15. Sark is answering a question about player development. I'm too hung up on his comment about the wide receivers to digest it.
  16. Sarkisian says after Daylan McCutcheon, the next WR to go in the game would have been Ryan Niblett. Says for the freshmen WR he says it probably wasn't the right scene for their first snaps of their career in that type of environment.
  17. After Daylon McCutcheon, the next wide receiver to go into the game would've been Ryan Niblett. Sark didn't feel like the other guys were ready.
