  1. Past hour
  2. He kept trying to loosen his shoulders it seemed throughout the game like he was uncomfortable. Might be a tick for nerves but seemed to change arm slot with some misses on shorter/intermediate throws that didn't have conviction. I hope he steps into the ball and drives it into his target with confidence as he progresses.
  3. You get what you give out. I try to as kind as possible in away environments… after all, I’m there to represent my school
  4. For a team with such elite talent we seem to lack a home run hitter or a sure 2 yarder at RB. The two starters are good but not great. Just watch other games today.
  5. Could be worse guys, Bama’s looking like poop vs FSU. I saw it coming. I called this game as a potential week one upset- certainly didn’t see Bama covering like 17 points away. I truly think Bama could go like 6-6 this year, possibly even worse than that. People highly devalued how much of a cheat code Milroe’s running was and de-emphasized the uncertainty around Ty Simpson (who had lest PT than Arch). People also highly devalued FSU- the 2-10 was an anomaly that they could quickly bounce back from to at least be a competitive 8-4 team. The team gave up last year. They’ve come out highly motivated now and Castellanos is looking like a guy that could be invited to New York in December.
  6. Noticed that too. It looked nothing like a normal Sark offense. It was bizarre.
  7. Boy, this sums up how I feel, especially because Sark has been so good in these early-season games.
  8. Question about Sark as a play caller: In games against top defenses, does he spend too much time early in the game trying to set them up later for a big play, instead of just doing what seems to be working? I know it’s one of his calling cards, but it seems like maybe it’s gotten us into too big a hole against OSU and the first time against GA?
  9. The oline was fine. Arch held onto the ball way too long. They had massive push in the run game and Arch was fairly clean even with how long he held it.
  10. I'm sure it was an incredible environment. Hopefully, no negative interactions with the Ohio State fans.
  11. I was blindsided by this. I didn’t expect perfection but competent play. Texas couldn’t complete a forward pass for long stretches. The gameplan was hideous especially when you have all off season. I went from thinking we have one of the best QBs in the land, to do we have one at all.
  12. I can't wait for Clark to be injected into the game plan too. Hopefully Baxter gets healthier and healthier too. The OL made me really excited. Perhaps OSU doesn't have a championship caliber DL this year, but that was still a great performance from our guys.
  13. It was painful. And hearing it the entire game didn’t make it better.
  14. I don’t think this stat is correct. The first Arch QB sneak was converted on 4th and 1. And Wisner also had a few first down runs on 2nd and 3rd and 2 or less.
  15. Love to see the overreactions in the comments! Was a fun game to go to
  16. Great write up! Sark has an issues with beating other great coaches who can match Texas’ talent. Outside of Bama and maybe Clemson, through 4 years his teams are consistently outclassed by elite teams and coaches. A lot of it boils down to execution and seeing the same issues in year five are concerning. Championship teams don’t out talent folks, they out execute them. Sark can’t seem to figure that out or get his teams to play with enough discipline to get them over that hump. Execution and discipline are exactly what won Alabama so many championships, they never beat themselves.
  17. Bad Qb play. Bad O line play. Too many penalties again. There are a lot of things that have to be fixed.
  18. Rod and I said the least pre-snap motion of any game we could remember in real time
  19. Not a long release like Raiola. I don’t have any issue with Arch’s arm action … I like it. Too many heel throws today IMO … he has the right person (David Morris) around him and people to be more consistent as he gets more game reps
  20. If you had told me that we would double up their rushing yards, hold Sayin to 126, and hold J Smith to under 50, I would have told you that we probably won by 10+.
  21. Agree on everything except the last point. With how CFP changed the SOS review this year, this game won’t hurt Texas much. 9-3 and I still think they get in. The plan from Sark was really bad. It’s like he just forgets who he is against top 5 teams. 2-12 record is not good, and indicative that he can’t get over the hump. We will see.
  22. Makes me wonder if arch doesn't identify defensive coverages pre snap. Poor decision making and even worse throws.
  23. I mean, OSU was pretty ineffective offensively. It’s not like they were dialed in and creating explosive plays. Texas actually moved the ball more consistently. Ohio State capitalized on 2 drives (1 off a turnover and 1 extended by penalty).
