  1. Past hour
  2. Late to thread…. Have we lost anyone that we’re going to miss.
  3. We need Kavan to keep doing what she has been doing. If it is 0-0 after 4 innings I love our chances.
  4. I didn't forget. 😉I've just been asked to hold them for the time being. Also, thank you for the kind words. I truly appreciate it!
  5. Hey Blake, First, thank you for your coverage of Texas baseball. Love it. It’s an area that traditionally is simply skipped & it boggles my mind. So, if you are ever in doubt, please know we always want more. Secondly, you forgot to mention the names that we are hosting from the portal.
  6. He may be our best alley runner too. It's him or Derek Williams, both enjoy contact.
  7. Today
  8. Was coming here to post this. You're correct. INF Jaquae Stewart is now the tenth player to hit the portal.
  9. Interesting to me how baseball recruiting seems to move underground almost. Names are rarely reported, seems like a ton of kids commit the moment they step on campus for their first visit, just not a lot of information to go around. I always wonder how the coaching staffs have achieved this level of secrecy in baseball but not other sports.
  10. They love to put the Tech coach's mug on camera that is for sure.
  11. Excellent. The only advantage of going out early is being able to hammer the transfer portal while other teams have to play. Lock these guys up before Ark, LSU and Tenn stop playing.
  12. Friday 9:10 AM Update: Schloss and Co. will host more portal prospects over the next few days.
  13. I think most don't understand what the grade of 89 means. 80-89 = GREAT 90+ = ELITE Taaffe had an incredible year in 2024.
  14. Forgot to include the current No. 85, freshman TE Emaree Winston.
  15. Except in year one, then you can be expected to just barely get in the NCAA Tournament.
  16. Flashing back 2 weeks to the Clemson late night extra innings nail biter game 2 when Clemson had runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the 8th inning with no outs, game tied 5-5. 80% probability in that moment at least one run scores for Clemson, our season ends right then…. but Kavan and the defense were f’ing clutch with a strikeout and 2 great defensive plays for the last 2 outs, inning over with no runs. Horns won it in the 10th after holding Clemson scoreless in final 2 innings. Texas went on to battle game 3 and win the series. That super regional series showed a ton of character and fight in Texas. Same thing in game 1 against Tech in the first inning with bases loaded and no outs. Tech should have been able to generate at least a run or two in that inning. Instead, Kavan and the Horms got Canaday to hit into double play plus the third out, no damage and the Horns went on to win the greatest game I can recall in awesome fashion on Atwoods clutch 2RBI single in the 9th. Bottom line, our Lady Longhorns have major grit and in this game 3 against Texas Tech tonight for the chance to win their first ever WCWS, I’m excited to see that Longhorn grit in full force. Minimize the errors and self inflicted mistakes. Kavan should pitch well with the day’s rest and the Horns should be ready to hit on Cannaday tonight (note, that’s f’ing impressive that Canaday is carrying the full load 3 straight straight days from the mound). My prediction on final score: Texas wins 6-5 in extra innings on a solo HR by Mia Scott. Texas wins their first ever WCWS. Hook em! 🧡🐂🤘🏼
  17. Hopefully two more players. They have three scholarships left.
  18. Is that you walking away, @Joe Zura. One can only hope. 😁
  19. That’s because he muted you.
  20. Blake, I said nothing.
