  1. Past hour
  2. Several were high, several were into triple coverage. Again, Arch was better than I thought he would be. I see the potential now. Just hopefully he hasn’t learned from those mistakes yet, because if he reaches his potential against Ohio State, Ohio State probably isn’t winning. Also, you’re 100% right abour Sayin. He is not even close to a finished product. He is going to make mistakes against Texas, just hopefully they aren’t too costly.
  3. I can tell you what coverages you're going to see. Match 3, Match Quarters, Split Zones, and Man over. Texas runs really simple coverages, but good luck figuring what they're in presnap while trying to figure out if it's a simulated pressure or if they're coming or not, and if they are coming who's coming as a first time starter. Hartline can only help for 15 seconds then comms shut off.
  4. Soft is when your head coach stands on the field with his hands in his pockets while his arch rival plants their flag on your logo after winning 4 straight
  5. If Day & Ohio State throw caution to the wind like the playoff run and get out to a fast start it could be a long day for Texas. During the regular season last year the Buckeyes started slow and usually turned it up in the 3rd quarter. Now we have a new OC, but I think Day most likely personally scripted the first 15 plays for Saturday and will be calling the majority of this game with Hartline telling him what coverages he is seeing from up in the Box.
  6. As I watch the Michigan/Ohio State game I'm so glad we got Baxter and Clark back. I can't wait until we get in short yardage and goal to go situations where we aren't running zone schemes.
  7. That’s what I heard as well. The halftime adjustment answer tells me that the 3rd quarter is going to be crucial for us. We need our 3rd quarter woes completely solved.
  8. ESPN is all over the engagement. I’m sure that’s where Joe z is spending his time. 🤣
  9. Shot in the dark here, I’m working in Vancouver and so far struggling to find somewhere that will be open at 9:00a local and will be showing the game. Any other longhorns out there with ideas or experience in the Vancouver area?
  10. Real-time look at Gerry and Joe Z
  11. Today
  12. As they should be. OSU knows we are going to get their best shot. Looking forward to a heckuva a ball game.
  13. Texas is already motivated, Ohio State is the last team to beat them. Nothing any player or coach says or doesn't is going to motivate them more or tame their motivation.
  14. My take was Day says almost the same thing every press conference and he was not going to put anything out there to motivate Texas. Quiet confidence in the process and prep is what it is.
  15. Yup safe area and not a bad walk. The only issues any opposing fan would have if OSU loses would be a few hours post game in the Bars on High Street that will be filled with drunk students, but it is the other drunks (non students) in the bars that are more likely to act like arses. Overall you should have an enjoyable experience it is just a small few overzealous morons who give our fans a bad name.
  16. I think they would rather celebrate Texas not winning the natty the last 2 years, they hate Texas more then they love themselves, plus we all know that they are 8&4U🤣
  17. @Joe Zuraasked me to post this for him … He wanted to congratulate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on their engagement And yes, he’s a Swifty
  18. my take: Dumpster fire….”Sayin going to have find a way to Win”…. Good players this n that “ Ryan Day Reeks no confidence…Sayin gonna be lucky to not be in ER before he gets pulled!
  19. If A&M and Oregon ever meet in the playoffs, Joe Z and Gerry might burn OTF to the ground
  20. Btw, throwing a ball at the feet of your receiver to avoid a sack is not a bad play. Throwing a ball too high is a bad play, I would agree. I'm willing to place a large bet Sayin will make the same kind of mistakes you've pointed out Arch making last season (every QB does), probably this Saturday. What we've seen and like about Arch is that he constantly looks to learn from his mistakes, get better and subsequently avoid them. Above all, that is what you should hope for from Sayin as well.
  21. Ugh. Go celebrate a national championship you didn’t win in 1910 while you’re at it.
