There seems to be a lot of bad ones. -
Thank you. I’ll make sure I follow this. I’m also in ga and had my pellets outside in one of the airtight containers but it’s super humid here so I’ll try to bring it in.

Let's keep our Ks down today. -
The controller on Tragers can differ my model. Some have a “Super Smoke” setting that provides more smoke. My unit does not. As an alternative, there are stainless tubes that you fill with chips for whatever flavor you want that you can set in the unit and it will provide a smoke flavor.

Make sure you only use Traeger brand pellets. Any other pellets don’t work. Think that’s by design. After getting it started, keep it open for 10 minutes on smoke setting first before you set it to the temp you are going to cook your meat. Also, you might have too much soot or ash in the hopper. Make sure (when the grill is cool of course) that you clean out the granules and soot from your hopper, then refill with full pellets. If you’ve already tried all this, I would return it, because it should smoke.

You need to get a hold of Coach Lincoln Riley at USC & teach him how to cook brisket. From what I head he doesn’t have a clue.!

Pretty cool.

I’ll definitely try it. Haven’t gone the low and slow route and I’ll see if anything is stuck. I think I’d love it if I could get it to smoke, lol. Thank you very much 🤘🏽

Gotta be super patient with it. I put the heat really low and let it sit there for awhile. Gotta get the pellets rolling. I also had this issue when I first got it. One of the pellets somehow got stuck in there so I had to move them all around. Eventually I just kept cycling until it started to smoke like crazy. IMO, Traegers may not really be worth it. Just a personal preference.
