Tech and Aggie early commits include top 20 instate guys we met with this week and are trying to get visits from Brewster (dl), Redmond (dl), DeMarrion Johnson (OT), Snell (S). Others that we’ve offered and committed to OU, A&M and Tech include: Keldrid Ben (rb), Benny Easter (wr), Kaden McCarty (edge). I know Sark likes to play the long game and continue with evals. We’ll see if it works this year.

My stepson graduated from A&M. So I had to walk the campus with him. Nice campus, and we end up at a bookstore. I look at this picture on the wall of a basketball game. I immediately notice Gabe Muoneke. This a guy who played basketball at UT in the late nineties. So it’s a picture of a game Texas played there. I look up at the score, and it’s something like 36-34. How could that be? So I look a little closer, and it’s the halftime score. And yes I looked up the score. A&M lost at home to Texas. So, they had a photo on the wall of a game they lost! I told the lady at the counter about it. “Well most of the students here don’t know that. Does it really matter”? No, it doesn’t matter. I still tell that story to every Aggie I run into.
