Orngblud05 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Nothing concrete but Chat GPT says he redshirted 2023. His first year at Miami was hindered by an injury lingering from high school. So maybe he’s trying to get a waiver for that season, not the 2023 season. SIAP. 2 Quote
Burnt Orange Horn Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Seymour was not on a roster nor attending college in 2023. How could he be redshirting?? This is exactly his contention in his appeal. 1 Quote

Also looks like he left Miami in August of 2023 so if he left there right before school started and enrolled at Akron in the fall, it makes sense as to why he didn't play at all that year. Quote

Not redshirt. He entered transfer portal outside the portal window so rules are he had to sit out a year. Quote

That's probably correct but the site that I looked at specifically used the term redshirt for that '23 season. Don't remember if that was the Akron or Western Kentucky website. Quote
