SamuraiKnight
So I have compiled a list of commits/targets and existing players ranked by their high school ranking. I did this to put into context what it means to sign a Ryan Wingo or lose a Michael Fasusi. If we sign a Javion Hilson, what does that mean in comparison to other player we have signed? I did this using the 247 composite rankings. Originally I was curious who the top 22 players were in the program. Then I wanted to see all the players ranked in the national top 70 (Ryan Niblet and above). Then Ended up ranking every with a .9000 and above rating. The talent has really improved over the years. Only 4 Seniors on the list (Quinn Ewers, Alfred Collins, Vernon Broughton, & Jake Majors). Juniors? Only 8 out of 63 players. The future of the team is really bright. We probably should be a little more excited about the future of Kobe Black. Top 2022-2026 Commits + Targets, Freshman, Sophmore, Junior, Seniors 247 Composite Q. ArizonaLonghorn
Nice work, thanks for posting this. Something similar from 247, the "Team Talent Composite", which looks at every scholarship player currently on the rosters (including transfers) and ranks accordingly. Bet you can guess who the top 2 are without looking. Texas is # 4. https://247sports.com/Season/2024-Football/CollegeTeamTalentComposite/ Edited September 16 by ArizonaLonghorn

bourbasted
Interesting topic. One thing to consider is that many of our top-rated would-be seniors are now in the NFL.
