Providence in a one possession game with Central Connecticut State in final 2 minutes. Seton Hall tied with St. Peter's in the second half. Xavier tied with Texas Southern in the second half. UCF shooting just 32.7% and being outrebounded 41-32, and they just scored to take a 62-61 lead with 45 seconds left. Hey, they were down 10 at one point. 39-40 at the half is a good thing. I kind of like Dennis Gates, so I was really disappointed by Missouri's 2023-24 season. Missouri might not pull this game out, but being down only 3 at Memphis with 7 minutes left is a sign they are much improved over last year.
