Barron, Collins, Conner Receive SEC Honors in Week 12 (Monday AM)

Texas CB Jahdae Barron has been named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Razorbacks on Saturday.

Barron finished with seven tackles, two TFLs, a sack and an interception.

On the offensive line, left guard Hayden Conner becomes the fourth Longhorn offensive lineman to receive weekly Honors from the SEC.

Conner was named the Co-SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week. Per PFF, Conner did not allow a pressure in 36 pass protection snaps.

Texas defensive lineman Alfred Collins was also named to the SEC Honors for the week 12 slate.

Collins had a sack and a forced fumble that helped seal the deal for the Longhorns in the fourth quarter.

 

Quite the list of accolades for the Longhorns after the trip to Fayetteville.

How crazy is it to have 4 different offensive linemen selected as sec ol of the week yet we feel they have really not performed up to standard as a group this year.
