The former Georgia Tech wide receiver has committed to Auburn.

Singleton took a second visit to Auburn over the weekend and Hugh Freeze and his staff were able to shut things down shortly after.

It seems that today it is about getting the bag rather than championships, but again I can't fault thesr kid if it is real life changing money for them and their families. Also the Arnold is better Manning pitch probably goes over well be when it ends with a big "ca ching" from Auburn.

Hope he got enough NIL to overcome is stock drop getting passes from those QB's. If he got paid big, can't blame him, its hard to see passed your nose when you're young.

He will still be an early draft pick with his speed. He will test very well at the combine.

Can’t blame these kids for choosing life changing money, But at what cost? Losing season, your draft stock tanking and playing with a turnover prone QB.

If Auburn or any other school  get enough players it won’t be a losing season. A team can potentially, if they can quickly acclimate the players and create a culture (hard to do), turn a team around in a season or two. This is one of the reasons for the parody in college football right now.  At least we can pay players now as well.  It used to be under the table and we were not going there (as much). Auburn won a national championship with Cam Newton in a one year turnaround before the portal and NIL era.  Yiu don’t think they have the will and money to do it now? These kids are sold money, but also the pitch that we (Auburn or paying school) are willing to go out and get them players to win.
