I had no idea this was even a thing… how can a freshman who just signed a month ago enter the transfer portal? The wild Wild West is even wilder now, you can’t really count on anyone being anywhere.

Yeah, I guess they can't just get out of their letters now. Not sure if it's due to signing day changes or just because it's so close to the start of enrollment. I was surprised Oregon even signed him when they had Akili Smith Jr. committed since 2023..probably even since birth being the son of one of the best QBs in Oregon history.

He had already enrolled at Oregon (I think they might be on the quarter system instead of long semesters), he had gone through Rose Bowl prep with them, so he has go portal route.

He has 5 days after his team's last games as he is already enrolled.

UO and UW are on the quarter system.
