  1. There we go JWhitt!!! to the Rams. 11 Horns drafted
  2. Brooks to the Panthers 🤦🏽‍♂️ Good job, Jerry
  3. Took me a minute to track it down on yoUTube, hope it stays up for a re-watch later. This was a GAME. Wingo had a great adjustment on the last TD pass he caught. Manning, Owens, Lourd had a tremendous day. I'd be surprised if Lourd stays cause looked like he deserves to play.
  4. If I took crazy guesses, maybe Shannon heads back west or Davis actually does go in the portal. Merrill/Chatman only names I'm not familiar with on the OL. Holmes, kinda surprised he didn't transfer with the DB numbers. Savion if he really wanted serious playing time. In my ideal world, Quinn and Arch stand up as leaders and say "We're not hurting in our spots, we'll give up our scholarships. Whatever it takes to keep this team together." But y'know..that's just my dumb hope to not lose anyone with this insane amount of talent on the roster.
  5. Shivers me timbers! How.. entire defensive backfield just got burnt like marshmallows behind a jet engine
  6. Hope McConaughey is at Spring game to chat with Zion. College Station, Baton Rouge, and Fort Worth aren't really known for being prime film/theatre areas.
  7. Consistency. Wins and playoff runs aside, just being consistent on and off the field. No more second half drop offs, solid tackling at the line and coverage by the DBs, Quinn making smart, decision-based throws. Same for future teams.
  8. Just getting to watch this morning's live and hitting the RB talk. My thoughts since the season ended, if he doesn't decide to transfer, have been to place Savion into a slot/RB role. Without JWhitt, have him fill in that bigger blocking slot guy as needed for a play or two to get downfield and open lanes for Cook/Bond or on screens. Being a Deebo/KaVontae Turpin/Cordarelle Patterson type of multi-tool, same as he was in high school.
  9. I used to live near San Marcos during the military years. Now in San Diego but never been to high school football games here. Don't even know how many college and NFL stars I've missed seeing over the last 14 years since I've been out.
  10. Shaq helps San Antonio teen Just watched this young man's story. He's been practicing in socks because there are no cleats in his size 22!! 6'9 395 at 14. Gerry, CJ tell me Coach Flood is aware of this young left tackle. Know nothing about him as a player, but would be interesting to watch his future. I'm sure he'll outgrow playing LT or even remain in football, but imagine a 7' kid on special teams line to block field goals in the SEC 😳
  11. Man. Blough's already an assistant? He was just on Hard Knocks last season with Detroit, then Minnesota. Still young in the league but hope he does well as a coach. Aside from Rod B, what's the scouting report on other potential analysts?
  12. Someone actually chose to hire Bill O'Brien to be a head coach again??
  13. Tobe Nwigwe from Alief, played ball at UNT. Good dude, got to work a gig with him and his family back in 2019.
  14. Said this before about Savion Red; other than Redcat, believe moving him to slot/RB could be a spot for him. Possibly filling in JWhitt's shoes. Bolden/Golden may be the starters, but I can see Red in packages as slot being a bigger, more physical body taking down safeties to clear space downfield for Bond/Cook. Being disruptive on screens/sweeps/end arounds could suit him. He could be UT's Deebo or Tony Pollard, without expending Bolden/Golden or Baxter/Blue from their roles.
