JMarquette
Tre Johnson had his hand hit on the release and they didn’t call it. Perfect ending. F these refs.
pinkman_90
Good effort but have a feeling this might come back to bite us on selection Sunday. That was a very winnable game against a very average team. Edited Thursday at 04:23 AM by pinkman_90

bierce
Tough loss on the road to a ranked team. We're still on a track to make the tournament. We had a shot to tie, but missed it. We had the guy with a chance for a putback in our previous possession, but there was unlucky carom. Tough loss. I'm sure there are several of our fans who will masturbate to the fact that we lost, but I'm not one of them. I'm not going to say we would have won with Weaver available, but Pope was terrible tonight. We rebounded well, but we lost the turnover battle big time. Not a great team, but a team that has been scrapping for wins and nearly won a game on the road that Pomeroy gave it a 28% to win. Let's beat LSU and get a win in our home stand against Kentucky and Alabama.

MarkInAustin
set up the corner trey well for the best shooter. No shame on that. Good game, even if a loss.

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted Thursday at 04:29 AM Moderators Share Posted Thursday at 04:29 AM Good effort on the road. Tough to win those games on the road in this conference. Missed free throw to tie, missed put back to go ahead and a missed three at the buzzer to tie. Texas had its chances. Encouraging loss, too many of those I will admit, but this team can battle.

I don’t think Ole Miss will fall off the map. They have two tough games coming up. The loss is unfortunate because it was right there. I thought you meant that Ole Miss was going to free fall from here on out and it would look like a bad loss. Misinterpreted what you were saying. My fault.

bierce
I don't quite understand why Pryor played so little in the second half. He had a very good game. I think I understand wanting to believe in Mark because he had the big plays at the end of the game against A&M, but Pryor is showing us a lot of good minutes. I wish RT would not give everyone the take the shot if you get the ball order. Pope is struggling right now.

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted Thursday at 04:38 AM Moderators Share Posted Thursday at 04:38 AM I am also over the Jayson Kent minutes, but realize Texas doesn't really have other options at the moment.
bierce
Kent had 3 offensive rebounds in the first half. And he did nothing else the entire game. Sometimes when I rag on a player, he plays well. Kent, you have been nearly worthless this year. So there is your prompt to kick some a** from here on out.
