Wabi Sabi Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Just got ran across this story when looking up practice reports for our guys playing in Senior bowl / East-West shrine bowl... Jaydon Blue drops out of East-West Shrine Bowl Surprised by the bluntness of the quotes, would've expected a more PC, diplomatic approach if there was even a chance of there being a reasonable excuse. And definitely surprised his agents hadn't manufactured one if there wasn't - ha! Not a good look, especially considering some of his back story. Hope it's much ado about nothing and he succeeds in the league. 1 Quote
Moderators CJ Vogel Posted January 30 Moderators Posted January 30 Nothing more than Texas playing 16 games in a college season and players needing to rest and prepare for combine testing. 2 Quote
Bobbers Posted January 30 Posted January 30 You know what is a good look? Running a 4.3 at the combine. Blue might not be a diplomat, but he showed up for games. He will be fine imo. 1 Quote

CJ I agree but I think there is a way to handle this professionally that doesn’t cost you money. 1 Quote

But if he doesn't interview well, I hope he's not capped as a late round flyer. Quote
