Dave Hart Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Josh Pate is one of the only national guys I pay attention to. He did his Top 10 SEC program rankings the other day based on a 4 year rolling blend of talent acquisition, on-field results (with more weight to recent success), resource pool, and organizational stability including coaches/administration. His list was: 1. Georgia 2. Texas 3. Alabama 4. Tennessee 5. LSU 6. Ole Miss 7. Texas A&M 8. Missouri 9. South Carolina 10. Florida Thought this would be a cool discussion and would love to hear the OTF community’s rankings 1 Quote
CHorn427 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Pate’s kind of a UGA homer (from Georgia). He hyped up Gunnar Stockton beyond belief before the CFP last year. ”He brought Georgia back FROM BEHIND vs Texas” “From behind” in a 6-3 hole Quote
harveycmd Posted February 13 Posted February 13 That seems about right to me. I'd probably change the order of the bottom four: 7 Missouri 8 Florida 9 South Carolina 10 A&M Quote
SamuraiKnight Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Georgia Homer or not Georgia beat us twice last year to win the sec title, have averaged a recruiting ranking of 2 over the last four years. Georgia has the crown until we take it. Im surprised he has Florida so low. With all the DJ Lagway buzz and NIL money spent I figured they might be a couple places higher and I think Missouri is fools gold 1 Quote
TexasFanatic Posted February 13 Posted February 13 UGA (until otherwise) Texas LSU (those guys will figure it out) Bama Tenn Ole Miss Big drop off Aggy Florida South Carolina Missouri (good success but not sustainable) Auburn (can jump into top group by Ole Miss if they get their stuff together) Quote
