Texas split a double hitter against MSU in Starkville.

Lose the first game 3-4. MSU score the winning in the bottom of the 7th

Texas won the second game. Texas was down 2-3 going into the top of the 7th and scored 5 runs with Miami Scott’s 3 run HR being the big blow.

Next game is Sunday against MSU.

They had me nervous for a while about losing the doubleheader. Wonder why they are off Saturday? Vacation day in Starksville isn’t the reason.

In anticipation of weather.

The came back from down 2 runs in sixth inning of game 1 to take the lead 3-2 and then promptly coughed up the lead and gave up the winning run in the seventh.
