Conroe (Texas) High 5-star cornerback Dorian Brew is a "likely" to visit Texas April 6 for the big visit weekend around Longhorns spring practice.

Brew, 6-2 and 197 pounds, has district track meet that week leading up to April 6. The good news is the district meet will finish up Thursday, thus opening up April 6 to visit.

A June OV is being planned as well.

Texas remains in a solid position with the competition being Ohio State, LSU, USC, Texas A&M and others in the mix.

Brew comes from a family of sprinters. His father Derrick Brew (Conroe High track coach) ran at LSU prior to winning Olympic gold in the 4x400, and bronze in the 400 meters. His mom, Donica Merriman is a member of the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame.

He would be at the top of my board @Gerry Hamiltonbut you think he stays at CB or moves over to nickel or safety

He's definitely at the top of Texas' DB board in 2025.

That's a good Q. He's a big kid. Going to be 6-2, 210'ish with 10.7 speed. All scheme dependent IMO.
