  3. Might be the best ambassador to Texas in the nfl for years to come
  4. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46586838/bijan-robinson-atlanta-falcons-mnf-week-6-win-buffalo-bills-monday-night-football Is Robinson the leading contender for NFL Offensive Player of the Year? What Robinson has done early this season is remarkable. The third-year running back has more yards from scrimmage through five games than any other player in Falcons history. His 138 rushing yards at the half were the most by any player in the league after two quarters this season. Robinson came into the game leading the league with 146 yards from scrimmage per game -- and then put up 238 on Monday night, the second-highest total in the league this season. Robinson is the second player to reach 450 rushing yards and 300 receiving yards through his first five games of a season in NFL history, joining Thurman Thomas in 1991, according to ESPN Research.
  5. Thoughts and prayers to the Murphy family with their premature baby.
  6. Good points.i should have been more clear. I’m talking about elite of the elite. That’s like saying hey we got ffrench and terry who are 5 stars but dkm is the clear difference maker. A 5 star plus perhaps in Gerry terms. Love Philips but not sure he’s got the ceiling of Devin Sanchez. Maybe he will have a superior career who knows. Littleton has been a revelation but most people would not have had him as a top 10 recruit in our class and he maybe one of the top 10 freshmen performers in the nation… kudos to the staff for getting him. In this age of nil recruiting you have to go big on a few big time guys like a Tyler Atkinson and a Derek Cooper and not settle on a half notch below. Meredith could be the number 1 corner in the country. Would be a big loss.
  7. No caption needed
  8. He’s been leaning to aggy for a while. So is the rb Landon Willis Callis. Sucks because we need an elite lockdown corner and we’ve missed on quite a few big ones in Texas over the last decade including last year
  9. Not bad from the biggest recruiting flop of all time
  10. some texas donor should add to penn st's offer for elko just for giggles
  11. Would raiola follow.. and if so would he start to copy Jalen hurts or will he still try to be mahomes stunt double on the next State Farm commercial.
  12. This will be an epic coaching carousel and portal.
  13. Aggy and ou have been piling on the recruits with their fast starts. Will be good to start chipping away at the leads that especially the ags have on top guys in 2027.
  14. Apparently it was all a ruse. Mateer can’t even walk.
  15. Dude is crazy. Fun to watch while he is healthy. Doubt he makes it through a year or two without breaking down. Even if he has a long career I’d be worried about CTE give his disregard for his own health.
  16. Since it is pointless to point out that we should have gotten OL in the portal, to fire Flood, hire Pittman, etc, I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on who we have and what the ceiling can be. We've seen the floor and it's ugly. I know a big question is physicality, though part of this is mental and part of this is in-born to the players that we recruited. What has been more concerning to me is that the current OL's inability to play assignment sound football, which allows these simulated fronts with 4 down linemen to get home easily with zero resistance. In no particular order: 1) Goosby isn't the plug and play guy we thought at LT. Does he still have the same ceiling? WIth a full year of starting will we see a guy that can get drafted in the first 3 rounds of the 2027 draft? 2) What can we do at LG? Stroh's feet are simply not good enough to start, and I hate to say it as he is a good kid and has done everything the coaches have asked. Neto must have real problems to not be able to start over Stroh. Is moving Hutson to LG the best option at this point? I don't see any other good option? This is assuming Kibble, despite the positive offseason reports, is completely unready and would give us a performance like we got from Brooks this past weekend. 3) At center, do we need to just go with Robertson? Cruz would be that has more physicality and we could use that, but I'm assuming he isn't ready to call the plays? 4) DJ Campbell pretty much is who he is.. does he have any more room for growth this year? He was the best of a terrible bunch this past weekend. He theoretically should be the most physical guy on the line and the leader of the line, and I have yet to see this leadership. 5) Are we expecting too much from Baker, in his 2nd year and in his 5th start? He seemed to do better in my eyes than in previous games.. the holding can on the wisner run didn't seem to be his call if the run was going the wrong way 6) Should Brooks be training just at one position? He was unfairly thrown in the fire, and I'd be shocked to see him at LG next week. If he is, Flood should really be fired.. I felt bad for the kid 7) Can the TEs help at all? I'm assuming we're going 12 personel more. Aside from Townsend none of lit it up blocking, and even he has whiffed on some blocks given his inexperience. Thoughts?
  17. Was wondering about the offsides from ant. Figured it could be intentional. Apparently it was.
  18. Taaffe can’t be on there either his whiffs on Wilson and Baugh for touchdowns. Not sure who would even be number 3.
  19. At least we’ll get gut punched by sec shorts tomorrow
  20. Bad choice of words my friend
  21. Need to keep this poor man off the internet when he wakes up. Tell him Covid is back and we’ve cancelled all football for a while.
