  1. I have Achane in Fantasy Football so YES lol please!
  2. From what I understand, Japan has special rules set in place with MLB so their NPB talent pool isn’t drained too fast. The MLB Draft can only draft from US, US Territories and Canada. I was wondering why he isn’t considered an International free agent (like signing a player from the DR). But apparently in order to become an international free agent in Japan, they must first be NPB players for 9 years OR they can request to be posted by their team. From MLB Website: “Players that accrue nine years of service time in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball or the Korea Baseball Organization are considered free agents. Such players are eligible to pursue opportunities in any league, including Major League Baseball, without being subjected to the Korean or Japanese posting systems.”
  3. Found this really interesting! This doesn’t happen often, if ever. Still super early as he wouldn’t play until the 2027 College Season but usually Japanese players play in Nippon Professional Baseball (Japan’s MLB) before asking to be posted to MLB. If his plans go through, this would be a fun recruitment to watch. A year at a US college would make him eligible for the MLB draft without NPB. It should be noted that he can be drafted to NPB in 2026 so I wonder if a college NIL offer would need to rival a NPB Contract. Either way it will probably bring huge fanfare/revenue to whatever University he chooses.
  4. Even if we don’t get Baugh, this is huge for developing Michael Terry III at RB
  5. Out of all the openings this season, where does Michigan rank? Going to be really interesting what they do. No way they promote from within for a second straight time right?
  6. https://247sports.com/college/mississippi-state/article/bulldog-football-coach-jeff-lebby-mississippi-state-264691269/ Miss St just parted ways with their WR coach. Interested to see what happens with Chris Jackson. For what it’s worth he coached up Brenan Thompson to be the number 2 WR in SEC receiving yards as well as Mario Craver last year
  7. I wonder if the SEC gets both us and Bama to cancel the games with ND. If the SEC/B10 has power in the playoff starting next year and want to get their teams in then you’d think that the two strongest conferences wouldn’t want to give any boost to ND with a win or quality loss.
  8. How is that auto bid allowed?! That’s crazy
  9. Elko leaves Duke, Duke wins conference with Manny Diaz lol
  10. “Now We’re Flippin’ Champions!” -2025 Heisman Winner I love this guy lmao he sounds like Gronk
  11. Yall think PK would be considered for any head coaching jobs?

  14. How would our guys grade out against Purdue, Rutgers, UCLA, Wisconsin, Maryland and Illinois? He’s a UW Legacy. Shouldn’t have surprised anyone that he flipped.
  15. PK SUCKS (hoping for another Jinx)
  16. Firing shots to amp up that classic rivalry between OU & Ole Miss!
  17. Honestly man I would believe in PK if he wanted a shot as a HC. I know it’s not what’s normally done but his defense has been the strength and identity of this program for the last couple of years
  18. I wish he would say “I need to be better, I didn’t put the guys in enough situations to be efficient”
  19. Ohtani is the greatest to ever do it. Not only because he’s a unicorn but because of the sheer talent and athleticism he’s doing it against. There is so much of a gap between him and everyone else that even an eventual 25HR (4.00 ERA) “down” year could see him win the MVP. Even just being effective at both is a feat so the fact that he’s elite at both is incredible. Everyone seems to think that two-way players like Ohtani are gonna be the future which I could see happening eventually but not ones that are starting pitchers. It’ll probably be guys who are sparsely used as relievers and have to log the 20 innings rule to qualify as a TWP. ESPECIALLY since it also opens up an extra roster spot for teams
  20. One for every Million $ in the supposed $4million NIL deal!
