    All of Riley's QB Heisman winners except Williams were transfers which they were pretty much developed at 80% at least before they got to OU. Williams is his own special case of overhype. He never won a conference championship and he never won a bowl game. In fact, his own poor efforts contributed to those critical losses. Riley is a good quarterback evaluator, but he is a poor QB developer, in fact. Personally, I think that when he saw Sarkisian's offense, that scared him out of the Big 12.

    Well Knight is trying to buy UO a Natty before he kicks the bucket. Other schools are targeting that one player who can pull one side of the ball with him. Texas pays more in football NIL than any other program, but they are trying to keep it balanced. No downtown luxury high rise condos for Texas. I prefer the Texas way, especially for building team culture. The New York Yankees spend a lot of money on salary every year but seldom make it to the playoffs. Football is still a team sport and no one player carries a team.
