  1. Hate to see him leave, but dang he just needs to move on. It obviously just hasn’t worked out for him.
  2. That was my thought. Playing time early is big for him. Not sure why they think he is leaving. JA will most definitely be gone I believe.
  3. Maybe I missed it on here somewhere but I’m hearing on some OU news sights that Fasusi has reached out to Texas to re open communication. Is this just rumor mill or does this story actually have legs? Wondering if Gerry, CJ, or Bobby have heard this
  4. Any word on going to a grass field?
  5. It’s crazy if you look at the A&M forums. Dang near every thread they have going their conversation is Texas. They talk about us more than their own team’s goings on.
  6. Overall, wide receiver is not a major concern to me in recruiting, it’s missing on high value targets. DK was in our own backyard and a heavy Texas lean for over a year. Swooped up in the last couple weeks along with Sharma in the 11th hour. Bobby said this morning on Coffee and Football one recruit doesn’t define a class. It’s almost like ignoring there is an issue of some sort at the moment. We all understand that one recruit doesn’t define a team, but this has been more than one in the last couple weeks. If it’s not money what is it? Message not resonating with recruits, just using Texas to drive up price. I believe it has to do with money more than anything. Staff refusing to go over that certain threshold. Just because a kid wants to get paid in this era doesn’t mean he is not a culture fit. I realize some will fall into that category but, you can’t use that excuse every time you get money whipped and just say, he wanted NIL not a culture fit. Regardless whether Texas likes where the market is you are going to have to pay for some needs. On the flip side if it’s not a money issue as some have suggested it’s not, then where do you look? I don’t think any of us know the reason for the latest recruiting hiccup, but time will tell I suppose .
  7. As much as I would like to agree with you I don’t see a top 5 recruiting class.
  8. Where is all that NIL money going. I guess using as funds to collect interest somewhere. Not much being used this cycle for sure.
  9. Is it adapt ability? Is Sark refusing to come off his pay for play? Willing to take a top 20 maybe recruiting class and fad into obscurity again… getting those vibes. We should be grateful after last year which I am, but so much is wrong with recruiting after a year like that and a supposed great brand in Austin. There is always a, but don’t worry or try to flip them late, or the money was there, or they wanted to be somewhere more, or had a better relationship with whoever. Something is not cooking with recruits. Let’s try first figuring that out instead of excuses. So disappointing. Getting pantsed and shoved in a locker is getting old. Rant over maybe. Carry on.
  10. Can we please quit spinning all the talking points. Excuses are getting old. Getting ass whipped, money whipped, and out classed in all areas. Texas winning season, going to SEC, producing NFL players hasn’t helped this staff one bit. Better recruiting class in Big XII let that sink in.
