BTW one of those "whatever players" from last year's portal class was Hero Kanu from bucknuts. He came to Texas with little to no fanfare and ended up being an integral part of the defensive line culminating in him being a draftable player and will be back as a key member for next year's championship run.

Uh no the portal just closed last Friday is all. Texas still has the next several months to add whatever players are still in the portal. And finishing the portal class with the addition of a starting caliber right tackle is hardly weak. 🙄
