    I actually dug into this and this has been a consistent theme from Reed beyond just the last two games. No idea how Klein hasn’t picked up on this. Ryan Tannehill all over again.

    Do me a favor and go look at the players on that North Shore team. If you’re better than those dudes, you’re good enough for Texas. That NS team wasn’t just a great Texas HS team.

    Yep. Played both ways for Westlake too. Came up with several HUGE plays as a WR in the North Shore game. A first half TD on a tunnel screen and the long catch on third and a mile to put Westlake in position to win that game. If you’re better than guys on that incredible NS team, you’re good enough to play at Texas. Really, really happy for him. He’s a Texas Longhorn and Big 12 Champion. Hoping he can add more to his list of accomplishments this season, but nobody can ever take away from him what he’s already accomplished. He also deserves a Texas-sized hat tip for his role in the Arch Manning recruitment.

    Hey @Gerry Hamilton I know you love multi-sport athletes. When’s the last time you saw a kid that played water polo?

    Teams don’t waste picks at the top of the draft anymore. If a kid is drafted above where they’re projected, it’s a pretty safe bet that they’re willing to sign below slot.

    He was the DFW Offensive POY this year. Perfect Game has him ranked at #500 and that’s absolutely criminal. Kid is really good.

    Just sent this to my little brother who went to A&M but is the definition of a 2%er. I said this has to be a pledge punishment right? His response: “It better be because if not that’s weirdo behavior”

    That’s the mom of the 2024 A&M LB signee correct? How the hell would she know a damn thing about the inner workings of Aggy baseball? If you asked her to find Olsen Field on a map, she couldn’t do it. If you asked her to name 5 players on the A&M roster I doubt she could do that either.

    I have absolutely zero knowledge of whether or not he’d be willing to leave, but Josh Elander played for Schloss, coached under him, and he’s from Austin. Definitely worth at least a phone call. Only problem is he’s already the AHC at Tennessee and Cain is currently in that role at Texas.
