NIL has enabled a level playing field for every team that can raise the cash. Top teams can no longer stack and develop depth like in the past.

Let's stop with the over generalizations. This team is not trash. There's only one group of players that is playing poorly and have been for years...the OL. Everything with the offense starts there, and this group is perhaps the least skilled in Sark's tenure. I don't know if it's recruiting or development or both, but the common thread is Flood. Sark will have to dig deep to pull the plug on him, but it's time. Hire a top OL coach and a proven OC so Sark isn't spread too thin and we'll be fine.

The consistent glaring issue from year to year is the OL. Sark has been loyal to Flood, but it's time for a change.

He played well in the second half of last season after he adjusted to having a poor OL and no running game. This season he seems to have regressed because the OL is even worse. Not sure what QB could excel with the defense in your face on virtually every pass attempt. Could he do better? Yes, but the root cause is the OL can't block consistently.

Good interview. Sark looks like he's in great physical shape...credit to him for walking the talk unlike so many other coaches.

I wonder how many programs passed over him because of the issue. Good job by Sark taking the chance on him to land a difference maker.

Yes, he stated in recent interviews that he wanted another year of strength and skill development and to spend a year on campus with his brother.

That's what was said about Goosby.

The pitch to Seaton would likely be: spend a year at RT in the SEC (significant step up from the B12), then play a year at LT and you'll be a first round pick. At RT he could also be the backup for Goosby in the event of an injury.
