  1. Getting old definitely makes you wonder if you can remember what you're wondering about.
  2. OK, Michael Terry, what are you waiting for? Hook'em
  3. He was definitely great. And he and Roger both belong in the HOF. Stop the silliness sports writers. And put Berknan in there too.
  4. Absolutely true. But there were pitchers that could hit 90, and the junk they threw. Whew.
  5. We're getting to witness greatness at its beginning. So much more to come from the young man.
  6. The modern day ball players are indeed amazing, no doubt. But the Babe did it in the dead ball era. Today the ball jumps out of parks. And he might have won 300+ games had he continued as a pitcher.
  7. Bet we see a few recruits starting to jump ship.
  8. Why is Flood the lead recruiter on a LB?
  9. I'm thinking it's a big start on the way to that final game 16.

  13. Bobby pointed out that if you say football and track there have been numerous. NFL and Olympic quality which includes Longhorns. I'm just not a track guy aside from the Olympics.
  14. With Williams committed, we now have two outstanding two sport athletes in he and Jackson committed. I don't remember this ever occurring on the 40 acres before outside of James Street and Keith Moreland. I'm not sure this has ever occurred before anywhere. Not 2 in the same recruiting class. Amazing.
  15. Texas had more medals than most countries. Awesome.
  16. We tend to do well when we get their attention late. Let's see what happens.
  17. What a final round!!! Scottie brought home the gold.
  18. Does anyone care about what the NCAA thinks?
  19. CJ, What is the Horns medal count right now?
  20. It's also cold and rainy much of the year
  21. Good question. Sark seems very well grounded these days, so I think he will be fine. And he is so intensely team and player oriented that they will supply the support he might need. Plus my understanding is this is an amicable split up, but I may be wrong on that.
  22. You make solid arguments, especially the NATO analogy. Yet, I disagree to an extent. In that schools like Bama, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida have plenty of money and great alumni support. So I do agree that we will have influence just not as much as we did in the Big 12.
