  1. Grew up in Tyler, lived all over the DFW area for a while, then moved down near The Woodlands over a decade ago and have been here ever since
  2. Screw OU, I'll always root against them. And any kids who leave this state to go to OU should never be allowed back in.
  3. 31-20 good guys
  4. Completely agree, Choice won't have issues getting his guy and that the injuries killed us. But how different would the season have been if we had taken one of Gibson or Clark (I assume it would have been Gibson, but I don't know their board) and a 4th year portal RB who actually knows how to pass block? RBs are fairly easy to find in the portal, so it just makes sense to me that we take one to develop and one that is ready made to contribute.
  5. Given the injuries this year and how the youth of the position has kind of hurt us (especially in pass pro), is there any way Choice/Sark changes their philosophy to go 1 high school and one portal RB each year vs the 2 high school and no portal we've had these last couple cycles?
  6. Texas 27 Vandy 16
  7. 34-20 Good guys (only because they score a garbage time TD against our 3rd stringers)
  8. Which exact podcast are you referring to? I've gone through the last few Move the Sticks pods around that 9:15 mark and don't hear any college discussions. Curious to see the entire discussion
  9. This thread definitely needed a different title. I need to know before clicking on a thread if I should freak out
  10. What made Baxter a year ago be so far ahead of where Gibson is now? I would have assumed coming from IMG that Gibson would be more college ready to play day one than Baxter last year, but it appears to be the opposite
  11. So sorry to hear that, my prayers are with you. My employer is being bought so I'm not too far behind you in getting laid off. Hopefully it all happens for a reason
  12. That's awesome. I grew up in Tyler and have a signed picture of 10 year old me with Earl and his heisman trophy. Was able to his house for his birthday party and interview him for an elementary project I was doing. I can still remember how nervous I was
  13. 3 years would make perfect sense, assuming she got her degree from Stanford early. Then who cares where you go, take the money. But as a parent I just have a hard time thinking about ever telling one of my kids to forego a Stanford degree for a worthless degree. At least Texas would have been a good diploma and I’m sure she could have gone to several other great schools for a slightly less NIL payment
  14. She had only been at Stanford for 4 semesters, so I can’t imagine she got a degree
