kruetz, blacks, Schmit’s in Lockhart are all worth the trip. House Park BBQ is the real gem but you they only do lunch. It’s been there forever at 12th and Lamar right behind the tavern. Love some Bert’s BBQ too, we used to crush turbo guts in high school. Also Brown’s BBQ trailer at corner bar on S. Lamar is legit and the only place outside of Kruetz that does beef shoulder clod!

Haha yeah! We wasn’t even the fastest on the day let alone coming close to Worthy’s record. It is too bad he didn’t run better but he can still be a solid wr in the NFL, just not a first rounder like we thought he would be after the first 5 games of the season!

Don't laugh about Murray.  Jon Scheyer and Tommy Lloyd never had HC jobs before going from assistant to HC at Duke and Arizona. 

I like Wade and Murray at this point. Pitinonis interesting but I just don’t think he’s his dad or ever will be in a lot of good ways but don’t think he’s a good fit for Texas. It’s unfortunate but this team has never felt cohesive all season yet we keep getting projected in. Hopefully tonight quashed those dreams. We don’t need to make the tourney and a magical run to jumpstart the program. We need someone focused and committed to creating a winning culture, prioritizing improvement, preparation, and execution offensively and defensively.

Saturday will be a really big day for the bubble.  Vandy, OU, Arky, and SMU will host ranked teams, and SDSU plays at Utah State, so we could see a lot of movement. 

Noca’s fall, albeit not super surprising goes to show what a great coach Wright was! Honestly, hope the beat Marquette just because it’s hard for me to understand why Shaka had such a hard time here with all the talent and support he had coming in.
Do we really think OU has much of a chance this year at this point? They just seem to have disappeared, even worse than we have at times. Arkansas on the other hand has played some really tough teams really close, last night for example so I think they’re probably in especially with the Cal bump. Vandy finishing strong helps us, even though we should’ve beaten them. SMU needs to lose just to keep them humble lol.
Would love to see tOSU fade to black. As little as we play them in anything I’ve grown increasingly more hostile towards tOSU. I effectively have them as the OU of the north. No matter what, it’s fun to watch them lose in anything. 

Very excited to see how all these folks positively impact the program! I’m really excited about Scott. Gotta believe with all the connections and credit Sark has right now, he must really see something special in Scott!!!

“When all 5 guys are locked in on defense…” we’ve got to have this be our complete focus down the stretch. Especially with Weaver expected back, we’re at our best when we’re attacking on defense and using that to fuel our offensive output. 

Honestly not feeling great about this one. This team feels like they’re slipping away.
