Last year we had concerns about only taking 1 LB in the 2025 class. You said we're fine because Bo Barnes is the future. We can't keep borrowing from our future by taking portal guys in all of perpetuity. At this rate I don't want to hear about how we can't complain about the portal success because we had the #1 class.

As someone who's pretty far removed from my college days, I can tell you that Tre will look back on this decision with a tremendous amount of regret. I feel for him and his family, but I can't imagine the money is worth the glory that he'd likely have at the end of the year knowing he was part of Texas football history.
