  1. Through the ups and downs David Gbenda made big plays in the playoff, and had the game of his life against Ohio State. Love a program guy and always wish those plays, the pick, for those guys could have been en route to a natty.
  2. I think a little bit of our speed concerns at WR will be masked in part because Deandre Moore won’t run a sub 4.4 at the combine, but I think he will have an elite 10 yard split and his acceleration can shock defenses.
  3. Hero Kanu has really good ball get off for a DT, would be surprised if he’s not a great interior pass rusher with 2 years under Kenny Baker.

  4. Jordan Johnson-Rubell is my most anticipated unknown entering his sophomore year because at the beginning of the year he was in the 3 deep at 3 spots as a true freshman. The kid must have a mind like a steel trap.
  5. His eyes rolled back in his head. He probably went stiff in his arms, and that’s what allowed him to hold onto the ball
  6. I was gonna say 24-10
  7. Did we get extremely lucky with Trey Moore not being dominant enough to be an early enough draft pick to leave, but heating up entering playoff time, and getting used to the competition level next season?
  8. It seems like the total number of stars in the higher end recruiting class this year are much lower in years past. Is this just a weird year, will a couple of teams get a bunch of late recruits and shoot the number up, or is it a function of NIL and the portal making kids think they can go to a small school then transfer?
  9. This is a joke, it was 21 personnel and Moore wasn’t on the field, but it still feels right and it’s that superpower that means he can drop 2 passes and not come off the field
  10. My favorite part of the game was when Moore dropped the TD and Sark said to himself “we need to get Deandre going” and so he called a swing pass to Wisner that went for a 50 yard tud.
  11. I agree it was bad. I think a large part of the problem was replicability of our snap count. I’ve never seen a defense stem consistently that close to the snap of the ball.
  12. What was more of a problem. Depth of target or the 4 strip sacks? 😂
  13. I’m seeing everyone getting pissed about the average length of target Saturday, and I like to refer to them as non-ball knowers. Did you not watch the Georgia game and see that every attempted deep shot ended in a sack fumble for both of our QB’s. This needed to be a quick release, 17 completions in a row, rhythm game for Quinn and it was.
  14. He threw his shoulder at him, I don’t even know if he brought his hands.
  15. The coaches need to tell Gunnar Helm to block less well. He drives nickels through the ground and refs assume it’s a penalty every time.
  16. It could also be something about the body language of players in presnap motion having a tell
  17. After a second watch of the game nearly every big play, sack, strip sack, or pressure came because the Georgia front stemmed fractions of a second before the snap not allowing Jake Majors to make the proper calls or had a rusher time the snap up perfectly. Something about the Texas snap count is too predictable and it cost us a lot Saturday
  18. Can’t wait to see the kind of energy that comes from college kids feeling like they’re being oppressed and having to sneak in outside alcohol. Hell hath no fury like a college kid made to be sober.
  19. Specifically for some of the real blue fin tuna targets for Texas such as Devin Sanchez, is there any advantage to not getting them on campus this week and having them come on a week where they can get a bit more one on one FaceTime and aren’t just a part of the big ole group? Although I do think you’d want to get them in this week, I don’t know if there are possibilities for a silver lining in that.
  20. This is obviously a joke, what is with the vitriol on this post 😂
  21. I have a crazy theory that the reason Quinn always seems to have shaky starts in big games is because he doesn’t change his routine, which includes an extremely heavy sniff of smelling salts before drives, in big games, and that plus the increased crowd energy has him too amped. Can anyone get me his number so I can tell him this?
  22. I might’ve counted them if they were in-line but I believe both of them were on the edges against DB’s
  23. Oh I think I did miss one. Was this the first game with no offensive line penalties?
