The no NIL excuse came from a different board from a writer with no sources who is consistently wrong. Then it was latched onto by a few RT truthers who like to pretend to know more than everyone else but are just regurgitating false info. It’s not true. RT doesn’t have the support that a coach who donors believed in would, but he is absolutely supported.

He spouts this NIL take as fact every chance he gets to defend this garbage that gets put out there on the court. However, this take that he’s latched onto is unequivocally false.
