  1. Useless clickbait
  2. What happened to the Lady Vols? The lost Pat Summit is what happened.
  3. Check that...Matt Coleman back in 2021 was last "true PG" we had. Since then, the position has been held down just fine by combo players.
  4. Correct....we can find guys that can do it all now at the guard position. However that doesn't mean the true set-up PG still doesn't have value...its just a rarity these days. I mean who's the last "true PG" Texas has had worth a damn? Myke Kabongo?? Better to have 5 guys on the court that are real scoring threats.
  5. True PG or Combo Guard...doesn't matter. We just need someone better & more athletic than Jordan Pope. If Miller proved he could eventually coach up & win big games with a guy like Jordan Pope running the point, then there's no telling how good we could be with a superior talent upgrade.
  6. Fair enough. The pre-draft camps will speak volumes for him. If he's nailing some 3's, & playing good D, then he's going rise in stock for sure. His bread & butter is that dribble drive game. He's gotta show more though. I would imagine his camp will compare his potential draft position money vs a healthy NIL payday. I really feel he's the perfect draft candidate to return for his senior year in order to really boost his draft stock in a weaker draft class next year. His rate of improvement was impressive this year...if that continues...then sky's the limit.
  7. Hey grown men can act like babies too!
  8. I didn't say "no chance" but I did say I viewed him more as a 2nd round guy & that I didn't see NBA stud written all over him. I'm sure you're just waiting to beat your chest & prove me wrong. I guess us underlings can't have an opinion & need to kneel to the all knowing Gerry Hamilton. Nothing I saw in the tourney has changed my mind either. I see him as a 1 trick pony right now. Very good dribble drive finisher. Good defensive potential but was inconsistent 1v1 wise late in the season. Improving 3pt shot, but at times plays a little soft & doesn't always make the best decisions with the ball. He had 2 really bad turnovers late vs Purdue. His last bucket was big to tie...but obviously showed some lack of strength vs Purdue's brute on the final play (who clearly fouled Swain IMO). Again, he'll need major seasoning in the G league if he bolts this year. Not sure I see him being a long term NBA guy. So many guys like him out there that are fighting for an NBA roster spot. I'd like to see him coming back 1 more year, rake in more NIL, & get drafted much higher in next years weaker class. But what do I know? I'm just a little piss ant underling. And for the record, your preseason info on Simeon Wilcher was dead wrong.
  9. His pre draft workouts for teams will give everyone the info they need
  10. Will have to see if we can overcome the travel fatigue & an emotional victory.
  11. Yeah. He's a 2nd rounder at best, & his perimeter shot is still suspect. He'll go to the G league if he gets drafted & I doubt he makes the big leagues. Tons of dudes out there with his skill set. I didn't even mention his defense...great defenders don't have games like he did tonight. I just call it like I see it. We'll see over time what happens.
  12. He's looked great at times this year, but he's also looked awfully pedestrian in many games as well. That doesn't scream NBA player if you ask me.
  13. Swain certainly doesn't look like an NBA pro to me tonight. Inconsistent perimeter shot & shaky defense. Guys like him, dime a dozen.
