  1. Yeah. He's a 2nd rounder at best, & his perimeter shot is still suspect. He'll go to the G league if he gets drafted & I doubt he makes the big leagues. Tons of dudes out there with his skill set. I didn't even mention his defense...great defenders don't have games like he did tonight. I just call it like I see it. We'll see over time what happens.
  2. He's looked great at times this year, but he's also looked awfully pedestrian in many games as well. That doesn't scream NBA player if you ask me.
  3. Swain certainly doesn't look like an NBA pro to me tonight. Inconsistent perimeter shot & shaky defense. Guys like him, dime a dozen.
  4. Not sure what's laughable because that's exactly what happened that night.
  5. Well in Round 1, Vista Ridge didn't nearly have the athletes that Little Elm did, but VR got physical & pressured him which clearly rattled Ogden...shot 1 for 8 from three for 10pts on the night. Again, he had a tough time with getting around defenders. The next 3 playoff games, opponents played him like he was a regular Joe, & Ogden went off of them. Not saying the kid isn't talented, he obviously is. But IMO, a top 40 guy in the nation should be able to almost have his way with HS defenders. D1 wing defenders are going to all over him. He'll need time for his body to get stronger & faster.
  6. Man, I dunno. Ogden looking awfully mid major pedestrian in this State Title game. Once again, he couldn't get around anyone on the dribble drive, & he couldn't stay in front of anyone on D either. I just don't see D1 footspeed...not yet anyways. He shot 1 for 12 from three and rushed almost every shot. Didnt mix in any counters moves. Finished with 18 but mostly because he was the tallest guy on the court & got everything inside & off FT's. The slower Westlake team looked completely overwhelmed by the faster, more athletic Little Elm team. I see Ogden being a year or 2 away at best from contributing at Texas.
  7. Great feet, non--stop motor & mauler on the field. His dad was a tough as nails grinder. Apple never falls far from the tree. Sign me up!
  8. Yes. I got snip snipped last year. I'd sell them for $10k!
  9. Was pretty much the entire offense for Westlake tonight scoring like 29points. When he builds up a head of steam, he's good at getting to the hole. Had an off game from three going like 2 for 8, but teams have been face guarding him all season. Westlake finally just let him bring the ball up the court which allowed him to build speed getting to the hole...at that point, he started to take over. However, not sure how much he's going to contribute next year. He's gotta get faster & improve his footspeed. Right now, when he squares up, he's not super effective with his first step to the hole and doesn't exactly blow past people. It also remains to be seen if he can defend D1 guys next year. Like I said, he needs major footspeed work in order to compete at the D1 level. We know he can shoot at a high level though but just may need a couple years of D1 seasoning.
  10. Just says he visited correct? Don't see any mention of an offer
  11. Don't know the exact number, but I do know that when my son was guarding & battling Bo Ogden the other night in an extremely physical bi-district contest, Bo spouted off, "I'm making more in NIL than both your parent's salaries combined." I chuckled because its probably true! Lol
  12. Georgia OL tackle/guard visiting.
  13. Looking pretty bleak right now if you ask me.
  14. Child like mentality.
