  1. You could be right
  2. The more disturbing thing to me is it said Wednesday morning. So that means he was drinking before or right after practice.
  3. Well this isn’t necessarily great news😕
  4. This is a vision zone coverage concept. It was Cover 6 (Saban's weak rotated cover 3), with Gbenda being a curl-flat player. In particular, this is what is known in the Saban system as flood. They have Sorrell playing the flat, Gbenda in the curl, Ant Hill in the strong hook, and Makuba playing the weak hook and being a 3 up is 3 player. This is not triple coverage. Maalik Muhammad has a "MOD" call on Jeremiah Smith. As you can see above, MM is playing man coverage on Smith, but everyone else is playing with vision on the QB.
  5. It appears as if Geoff got his feelings hurt lol. Bobby cooked with this one🔥🔥
  6. Got a big weekend coming up AND Atkinson is projected to Texas. God is Good.
  7. Agree, its tough to get production when you have your two biggest batting slumps back to back in the lineup
  8. Agree, we are able to load bases for sure, we just cant seem to drive those runs in
  9. There was a lot more i missed on this message regarding the hitting situation, but we already know about that I don't feel like singling guys out right now. Only thing I will say is you can leave as many guys as we did on base all season and expect to come out on top.
  10. Can't sleep much after the game last night. Although this was such a disappointing way to end the season and the past couple of weeks have been frustrating to say the least, I am still proud of the guys for doing what they did in the regular season. This year was supposed to be a rebuild year and we were supposed to a middle-of-the-pack SEC team and probably end up a 2/3 seed in someone's regional. This team ended up exceeding pre season expectations and went on an amazing run for most of the season and brought us a regular season SEC title. Y'all can disagree with me if y'all want, but I think with how much emotion there was in the A&M series, that series alone emotionally drained the team going into Arkansas and I think that Arkansas series really messed up some of the players confidence moving forward. The other big reason I feel we had the late season slump was Jared Spencer getting injured. Losing him caused an identity crisis for our pitching rotation and really showed the lack of depth we had in the bullpen. With all that being said, what Schloss was able to accomplish with a squad that was not the most talented and straight up not the best baseball players is amazing and shows how bright the future is with this. We will get better every year from here, we have an amazing recruiting class coming in and have no doubt the NIL backing for the portal will be there. Some quick personal superlatives and would love to hear y'alls: Team MVP: Rylan Galvan / Dylan Volantis Best Game: Game 2 vs LSU Best single game performance (Batting): Casey Borba vs Kansas State 2 H, 2 HR, 8 RBI / Kimble Schuessler vs Auburn (Game 3) 3 H, 1 2B, 2 HR, 8 RBI Best single game performance (Pitching): Jared Spencer vs Georgia (Game 1) W, 7.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 11 K, 111 Pitches Alright thats it, lets hope softball can finish the job and bring home a title, then its back to focusing on Football😎 Hook Em' 🤘🤘

  12. the man who gave me a team to watch as a kid when Texas was going through the dark ages, what a legend
  13. I don't believe so, he is an older man. I met him at the final regular season big 12 baseball game last may, I believe he graduated in 1977. I remember in the final baseball game last season vs Louisiana in the college station regional. It was frying hot outside, we lost the game 10-2 and there were maybe 30 texas fans left at the end of the game including parents of players. I was there till the last pitch and even though we lost, I witnessed him proudly lead the team in the eyes of texas. No matter how bad the team may be, he will always support them.
