You are so close. Beard had it turned up to 11. Then tripped on his d***. He was elite And had all resources lined up. His fault Smart sucked due to dumb a** decisions he made upon taking the job RT was way way worse than mediocre and is solely responsible for all the lost time and resources that Beard built never should have gotten the job-ever miller will get them back. He’s an elite coach cmon. Glad you on the boss

Agree with you here Sean Miller is a high level big time coach. Past history always always equals future performance he will correct and win just like all coaches past history equals their future performance. We’ve witnessed it here in tragic ways with Beard and totally predictable ways of failure with Terry and I’ll bet Miller gets this team in th high winning percentages and deep tourney runs just like he has at each and every stop he’s made. This time with the backing of more money, facilities and all the resources of our Texas machine Get on the bus !

At the end of the day you gotta make shots. We didn’t all day and are lucky Aggy was missing too in the first half tough one to lose but we competed through it all and still only came up a couple buckets short Miller has proven he corrects and improves and this team of young and mismatched players will win some they shouldn’t and lose some that make you frustrated it’s all part of the process of climbing out of the ditch we were thrown in two years ago

Now that we see the difference between what we had the last two years—- Everything we can be as a basketball program is still to come I’m very glad w are all realizing this Watching us win that game was awesome for the program and vindication at so many levels

The usual crap from you miller would need 10 great GMs and ADs and Buffets checkbook to clean up the terrible mess RT made of this program. He knew going in this was a complete rebuild after following an atomic train wreck

😂 I’ll watch a .500 season with a coach actually teaching fundamentals and preparing for opponents and executing an actual game plan over the rot of the last two seasons that ended exactly like we knew it would The first half season and elite 8 was about 10% Rodney at best. That was a player led effort

So much anticipation of an actual basketball coach at Texas for the first time in a long time excited just to see how we start the miller era. Three wasted years too late what a bust Rodney Terry was. We saved a ton of cash though. 😂

Houston is a team that we are second to in our own state. They have a campus in the middle of a parking lot. When we get our coach that is similar in stature to Sampson, this will no longer be the case. We are who we are right now and our schedule reflects it we don’t deserve the right to be compared to UH yet

We are coming off two seasons that include 4 tourney wins including an elite 8 run. Two years ago people complained as well. This isn’t what a program does that wants to be considered upper echelon It’s fine to schedule winnable games but this schedule is like playing high school JV teams. Our practices are more competitive against the second team

I think the staff knows we are in trouble as well and made the schedule accordingly

CDC was forced to hire (media) one of the nicest guys in the game after that assisted Elite 8 run If we don't look good against this competition then miss the tourney it may well be the ticket to an upgrade

it matches the trial contract the coach got.... We better win at least 7-8 of those games. 5 by 25 or more points
